Such a beautiful song. As a long time Australian fan who's been listening to Cowboy Junkies since 92 when I was first introduced to The Trinity Session via a cassette player in a friends 70s Valiant on our way to a party. Now, it wasn't what you'd call "put us in the party mood" kinda music. Nonetheless their sound had an immense affect on me that continues and will always. From Whites Off Earth to Ghosts and Songs of The Recollection. What a musical journey. I missed seeing them the one time in the mid nineties when they toured Oz because I was out of the country. I was even in Canada and the US a few times and didn't get to see them. I moved to Prague in 2017 so imagine my delight when they announced a European tour for 2019. Due to work committments I had to fly to Mancester to see them for the first time there. It was such an amazing experience. It was a fairly intimate gig and I didn't have to yell so, I thanked them for 30 years of amazing music and told them they just get better and better. Which is true. The next gig closest to Prague was in Nuremburg at The Hirsch......It was beyond anything I had ever dreamed of as a Junkies fan. It was just like a warehouse that's been turned into a music venue...Really casual and the place was half empty...I couldn't believe it. So I was standing about 2 meteres away from Margo when she sang this song. One of the most beautiful musical experiences in my life. So excited to be seeing them again but this time in The Netherlands in November. Long live live music and long live Cowboy Junkies
