Unless you are in a really backwards fascist country, vandalism requires some form of damage or permanent change to the property. Had that been a true bronze statue, his little sandal bottom wouldn't have damaged it. It is still a crass thing to do, but unless it is someplace really militant, that prosecutes disrespect, this wouldn't qualify as vandalism.

Well surely it was a terrible thing, at least the guy was being a decent enough fellow to immediately apologize....and he seemed to genuinely be remorseful. Fortunately the cowboy is a good guy and I am sure this fellow learned a lesson.

@@rosenancy3382 He made a dumb mistake and because the costume was so good, he thought it was solid. He was trying to make what he thought was a cool (yet incredibly stupid video). He did not give thought to the fact that the statue could have been made of a less strong substance, or was a person. It was a stupid mistake....have you ever known any decent fellows who make a silly mistake? I am pretty decent and thank god nobody has ever judged me so harshly for my many silly mistakes over the course of 50+ years. He apologized profusely. How do you know this guy goes around destroying property? Exhibitions, displays, works of art? His error was incredibly embarrassing to him and my guess is, because of the shame of having done it, and because Cowboy was so decent, this fellow will not be doing it again. Cowboy shook his hand, the man offered him money, which Cowboy graciously declined. Hopefully you can hold off on submitting this fellow's name to The Hague, for prosecution in the international court.
