If you want an authentic response from your audience Fred, Just Play Your Music and Simply Perform, if the Audience Feels it they WILL Join You. You don't have to continuously yell at them, "Need a little more noise than that", "Let's try it again" or "I cant hear you!!" Just Perform and the audience will respond Organically when they feel it,. . . NOT because you're trying to emotionally blackmail them into behaving how you think they ought to behave. Sorry bud, (and don't get me wrong You are an incredible performer) But I Hate when performers do this. Just perform and let us yell and celebrate when it's a real gut reaction to the energy you're putting out on stage.
