Trigger Warning: Gun Shots
You're walking into town after your horse has sadly died on your trip when you're approached by a big, stern, but friendly looking man on a horse. He asks you where you're headed and what you're up to before offering you a ride to town.

The dream team is back, Sweet Angel and Pingly! A fantastic audio, a bad boy cowboy with a mysterious past that seems to have a heart of gold, the listener being a bit of a badass, a horse called biscuit?!! Not to mention a southern pingly twang! When I saw we were getting a cowboy, I was really hoping we’d get an accent, and I was not disappointed! But, really, surely a good way to pay back saving his life would be to come work on the nice lady’s farm for a while?

@@PinglyASMR oh, yes, it was lovely 😊 Maybe it’s a link for a sequel in the future? Things keep getting mysteriously completed on the farm, and she can’t figure out how or why. All the animals are fed, fields planted, so she starts leaving out food for whoever it is…

Looking up, surprised at the sudden voice, she was glad to find the owner was just as kind as his voice would suggest. Offering her a ride after she told him her predicament? He didn’t have to… but it was mighty kind of him… She grinned slightly at the name of his horse “Biscuit?” She asked, liking the name. Mischief in her eyes or not, Biscuit was most certainly a good girl. Then the question of why she was out here came up and she squashed a sigh “Don’tcha got a husband ta do that for ya?” He asked and she scoffed slightly “No sir, I do not..” “Ya ain’t got a husband? Well that surprises me..” he replied and she asked an incredulous “Really? Why?” His subsequent compliment got her flustered and she protested “I’m not _that_ pretty-…” she muttered, “Darlin you don’t haveta humble yerself like that, you’re one of the finer maidens I’ve seen in a while.” He retorted, smiling at her and her looking away “W-well.. thank ye kindly…” she stuttered “Yer welcome ma’am, I’m sure men would stand in line for a woman like you.” He replied and she snorted slightly “Tell that to them heheh..” “they don’t?” He asked “Nope.” She replied “Why not?” He asked further, audibly confused “I can’t know their minds… besides I.. I care for my parents.” She replied “is that why men don’t like you?” He asked, a slight laugh in his tone which she couldn’t help but to smile at “for all I know, that may be!” She said with a laugh as they rode. As the conversation flowed from her parents, to where she was going, and as Biscuit made her way, she found him easy to talk to, he was friendly and quite amiable. She found herself curious about his way of life, traveling everywhere, seeing the sights, never staying long… whether he thought it exciting or not she thought it was. A free country man… she was baffled at his saying people didn’t like him much- honestly if he thought she was pretty, he should look at himSELF- not to mention generous, what with him giving her a ride and all. And then the excitement started, “Oh no..- they have guns- quickly- get down and hide!- now!!” “I’m hide’n!!-“ she replied, swiftly dismounting and taking cover. She quickly taking the gun offered to her and readying to defend herself, and quietly cheered him on as he picked them off. “Think that’s all of them..-“ “Not YET!-“ she aims, fires, *_’pow’_* a breath of relief and she properly hands him back the gun. After a beat he let out a breath of surprise “shit- …you saved my life…” she smiled at him “Thank you darlin, I missed him-“ “it’s no problem.” “I owe you for that one, are you ok?” He asked and she assured him she was fine. “I should prob’ly tell ya what’s goin on.. unless ya don’t wanna know-“ “oh I wanna know.” She said as they rode once more. ‘Dale huh.?’ She thought to herself as she listened to him explain “what’d you do?” She asked “I’d rather not tell you what I did… what happened in the past should stay there…” The subject change to her shooting wasn’t entirely unwelcome- she was still curious about him, but she didn’t pass up the opportunity to brag on her dad a little. And then his thanking her? AND offering her a drink? Well.. he didn’t have to, but it’d be rude to refuse now wouldn’t it? “Enjoying yer drink darlin?” He asked and she looked up, smiling at him and nodding, “hits the spot..” she replied. “Have you been here before?” He asked and she shook her head “Pa never thought it right if I were by m’self hahah.” She replied, laughing jovially. “I see, I see… I understand why no father would want their daughter to be by herself.. but now yet not here by yerself, yer here with me.” ‘No real plans after this and yet he’d still keep going huh.?’ She thought to herself. The hotel thing made sense she thought before they made their way to the market. He really didn’t have to get her there, but she found his insistence sweet all the same. She really did appreciate it, despite her small protests. “I saw a coach service when we were ridin into town.. Here, take these five dollars, n’that should be more’n’enough to get you home.” He said. To which she protested, he really didn’t have to! He’d done so much for her already!! Reluctantly accepting, she asked “Will I ever see you again..?” “Probly not darlin..” he replied, and she deflated fractionally. She’d grown rather fond of this kind, mysterious cowboy during their short time traveling together. “I’m not the type of person that you wanna be seen with…” he said, “have a good day ma’am, it was nice meetin ya.” He added, tipping his hat and turning back to go get Biscuit. She looked on as he began to walk away, and replied to his farewell with a soft, “You as well… Dale Walker…” she would not forget that name. Nor the man who came with it. Ok. FOIST OFF. *_the accent._* frick you- frick me- why am I weak- “Darlin” AAAAAAAAAAAAAH- STOPIT- NO- *USES COMICALLY BIG FAN TO TRY **_-and fail-_** TO COOL MYSELF DOWN WITH* He: “I should prob’ly tell ya what’s goin on.. unless ya don’t wanna know-“ Me: OH I WANNA KNOW BUSTER- THAT WAS COOL. Also- I know I said it in the live but Biscuit is such a cute name for a horse!! I loved everything about this. The voice acting, the script, (you GO angel!!) the editing, the sound effects, the listener getting to show off? *chefs kiss* 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌🤩 Also DANG. Five whole dollars? That was a lot of money in this time setting!! This cowboy is kind AND generous!! And again, happy anniversary Pingly!! Sorry this comment is technically two days late- life picked up a bit the Thursday and Friday, (still today for me cause I haven’t gone to bed yet LOL) and I wanted this comment to match occasion!! You’re awesome Pingster! And don’t you forget it!! *_cause you better not-_* xD

Love the story, same as usual! Your characters are always so much fun! I'm glad you liked the accent, I wasn't sure about it honestly. Angel said they thought I'd sound good as a Cowboy but I had my doubts. I'm glad so many people enjoyed it! Also, yes darlin' five whole dollars! Dale is a generous man to his friends, especially friends who save his life!
