I cried watching the funeral procession. Watching them roll thru all of LA, the Eastside and all. Broke down crying when I seen them dip thru watts. I reposted it saying "Prayers G", and i refreshed, and a second later i see "Nipsey dead at 33". Man , i was crushed, i got goosebumps. Hes no idol or God or anything but i was like WTF Why nip? Nip a good dude. I knew nip from Books, and gary vee, and his Music. Def hit me alot. My cousin who i love dearly died a week later at 34, at work from a heart attack ..After that day i began Changing my lifestyle, went to church more and Got on my Grind, and Got a Better career, 3 years later im still shocked ,While listeing to Nip the Gr8, RIP NIP AND My Cousin M.V, Long live 5ever. Life is short. Stay blessed everyone.

I'm glad Cowboy showed up & share the story of the day Nipsey Hussle past away I'm a Over the road trucker early this year I finally got a load of cars going to Los Angeles. And I was able to stop at that location and what I saw was that shopping Plaza was still boarded up there was a huge gate blocking the whole Shopping Plaza an street vendors were selling memorabilia. & painted murals of Nipsey Hussle, on the walls. But I thank the owners of the marathon clothing store to allow the street vendors to sell Nipsey Hussle merchandise up there because I was ((at-least)) able to get T-shirts for my family at home. I didn’t cry for my homie until I seen the funeral that’s because I couldn’t believe he died until I seen the funeral but when Marsha started singing that song, sometimes I’m so despondent that I feel the need to fly like a bird take to the sky I need the strength of you by my side. That broke me all the way down bro I must have cried for 2 hours straight bro eyes red and puffy man I started listening to Nip in 2010 going in to 2011 and first song I heard was that 7 days a week 7 different freaks but I got tired of fuckin ho’s so I just smoke and count my cheese. From then on I began to try to find out more about this guy who seemed like a relative or a close friend who knew exactly what I was going through and could explain how I felt. A young CEO trapped in a violent environment and trying to transcend my surroundings. It was damn near a decade I was riding wit nip every interview every album I remember when mailbox money dropped and Crenshaw. I got married and had kids during that time and Nips message his words and his music got me through some hard moments when this happened I was truly fucked up R.I.P Neighborhood Nip the Crip the blue rose that forced its way through the asphalt and never lost a thorn in the process.

I believe it was January. My mom, and baby brother and I was at Simply Wholesome . Nip was there. (So was usher, but we didn't care. ). We didn't want to impose . It was cool seeing him in person. We ate and left. Passing Slauson and Crenshaw, MA stated she had a bad feeling about Nip. I dismissed it because I thought she was being paranoid. She's usually right about her premonitions. I was in disbelief. As much as I dislike gangbanging, I have to admit, I was definitely sympathetic to Nipsey's people in the 60's. He wanted to bring the peace and stop all the fighting. I had a feeling something bad was going to happen eventually because what Nip was trying to do took HUGE bravery and courage. And, as you all know, brothers who think like that and push that kind of message sadly don't last long.

I remember CRYIN in the car when they played his songs but before we got the news we was playin “victory lap” when we got the news pictures n all I was in disbelief I went on my twitter n he was trending 😞 we left it didn’t hit me til we went to go to this cellphone company I was outside listening to the radio they played my fav song oh my God I was CRYIN my bd like y u CRYIN? He like when I die u better cry a river for me I was like 😒 but yea I’m hurt rn I always wanted to meet him or go to his concerts never gonna have the chance to ever do that REST IN HEAVEN NIPSEY 😢 I don’t like sayin rip I really miss him!
