@@foolishyish Good point! Well, when I first started I was really young and didn't have anyone to teach me(I taught myself what I could). Then I started learning in school in the 6th grade and have progressed quite a lot since then. I can speak without translating in my head and can express myself pretty well... I guess I just want to get to the point where I can talk about nearly anything as I would in English and fill in the gaps if that makes sense

Nate definitely speaks like a stereotypical Mexican Rancher. His accent is a “drawl” and no doubt influenced by the Norteña/Ranchera music he listens to. It’s equivalent to an American Cowboy as opposed to a person from the city. It definitely gives him more authenticity and he sounds 100% native because he uses Mexican slang and curse words. You would never guess he’s an American white boy. It’s very impressive. The best and most convincing I’ve seen on YT. There are large populations throughout Mexico that look just like Nate with blonde hair and blue eyes btw who are born and raised there. Just like there is a huge Asian-Mexican and African-Mexican population in Mexico too. Being “Mexican” looks very different than most realize.
