Another great one. My grandmother, born about 1903, always had a wood burning stove in her house. After they got electricity, she also had an electric range. I never, ever saw her use the electric range. She always preferred her wood burning stove! The only one to use the electric range was grandpa, who always fixed him a pot of rice for his supper.

And when you started singing your rendition of “Strangers in the Night” steak sandwich style, I just about died laughing and was glad I was in the basement filling out state paperwork for my business and also doing invoices since I’m fairly sure I’d have woken everyone up otherwise!! 2:43 I can attest to that. I've experienced it many times while cooking cold steaks that I had just pulled out of the fridge. Sometimes one side would cook through more than the other, and sometimes it wouldn't seem to cook through at all, despite having it in the hot skillet for several minutes. I like a steak that's pink in the middle, but I can't hardly eat it if it's bloody and has that strong iron taste, which happened often to me when cooking it straight from the fridge. Letting it sit out for a little while has given me better and more consistent results.

Kent, growing up in seafood country I have cooked plenty all my life. Made my own cocktail sauce and tarter sauce as well. Just recently I decided to grind my own horseradish and see if there was a difference ......WOW!! You have never had horseradish until you grind your own.....One root and I got nearly 2 pints out of it!! Try it and you will never buy the "Prepared" horseradish in the grocery store again!! You will not believe the difference in the taste and you will wish you had tried it long ago! God bless you and Shannon!

Very tasteful application of the music to the video. Not too heavy, not too much. Didn't over power the video. Just well done! Oh, and the sandwich looked great too. [grin]

Since my grandfather (World War 1), my father (Korean War) and my brother (Operation Desert Storm and the liberation of Kuwait) were all veterans, I really appreciate you tipping your hat to all the veterans!

Looks wonderful Cookie. We made something similar in camp hunting antelope in Lamar Colorado. Wish we would of had garden fresh tomatoes though. God bless you both.
