The Cowboys should absolutely look to trade down unless a top 10 player just falls in their lap at 24 because getting an extra top 100 pick would be valuable to fill needs on the roster. I like this mock but I would have went with the LB Trotter instead of the Yale tackle. I get that O-line is a big need but LB is a huge need as well and since we already got Fraizer earlier LB becomes more important in my eyes for this mock.

Sorry, Edward, but the Draft Value Analyzer doesn't line up with this scenario. The Cowboys would be able to get Baltimore's 3rd Round (#93) as you suggested HOWever they're not gonna get a 4th Rounder in addition. The analyzer says the swap of #1's plus Dallas getting that coveted 3rd is equivalent to 397 Draft Points...and that justifies Baltimore's leap of 6 spots. That said, IF Jerry (or Stephen) could actually pull off that trade AND receive that 4th In Addition, I've automatically become the top candidate for NFL Executive of the Year.

Just an FYI, your draft roundup is entirely incorrect, it doesn't factor for the trades and the pick number changes. Decent draft tho, especially the front 3 picks would be awesome

Too cute to not take a 1st round pick on the best OL class in a long time when we need both a center and a guard or tackle. Start from the inside and get the OL 100% complete. Keep the other team's offense off the field. Then get interior linemen round 2. RB, CB, LB rest of rounds. Fill in rest via free agency. I know it does make some sense to trade down when you need everything but get your OL done and your good for years.

OT & RB obvious need. McCarthy just didnt seem interested in developing run game last year or really ever. We cant be one dimensional offense & throw CD 15times/ game. And Defense needs run stopping DT/ Mike. Only good thing is wont be hyped up this year so cant underperform again. Hoping RBs fall in deep draft class so maybe can wait till 3rd for RB.

Newton looks good at 33 but we need A good LT. More. Not Picking Guyton or the B.Y.U. tackle will come back to haunt us. We could have had A good tackle and Frazier as our two top picks future of line significantly improved. Or draft Georgia's center in the 2nd he wont last into the 4th round or pick him with 65 th O. line must be top priority. You said you like Jaylen Wright of Tennesse more why the change? With the 65 top linebacker available best option we need a thumper in the middle. Name another Tackle from Yale who plays in the NFL. Please Tom if you hit on this one you deserve a statue in ATT. D D because what I would’ve done rather than draft that tackle which is under size I would’ve looked at tray down again. See if you can add more pics because the reality is you’re correct. We do not have enough pics to fill the order I’ve been saying from day one you should try down try to get a couple of the teams in the first round to trade up a couple spot. Add extra pics get yourself still highly in the second round. I don’t know everybody going crazy just right off the bat draft off it’s a line off the bat because we do need interior line in linebackers more than we need the office line. Yes, we need off the line help but I’m in the first opinion that you need to solve the issues which is complete our team now for several years, that’s getting that line solved. Get your line back up position and be honest with you. We need to upgrade it safety we need to make safety who can make plays along with. Yes you need another receiver. You would like to have an extra tackle and a guard center to solve those issues yes you like to get another running back in the room. we need several positions to solve these issues so as many pics as we can pick up in my opinion in the long-term is better because let’s be honest everything is projections. How many times has there been a top draft picked it every time was gonna be a no gonna mess. I ended up being a bust, and there was later pics that ain’t being superstars. It happens all the times ratings is just a projection. Let’s look at the bigger let’s get let’s get quantity rather than trying to think about quality because the quality may not turn out what you think it is, you might get a lot of gems in the draft. Let’s get as many bodies in the room because right along. We need multiple multiple positions of multiple multiple players at those positions.

Jer'Zhan Newton, Zach Frazier (2nd round); Trey Benson, Kiran Amegadjie (3rd round); Mohamed Kamara (5th round); Ainias Smith (6th round): Nathaniel Watson, Jordan Magee (7th round). I think we could work with that, although not crazy about the 6th round pick, but wtf, it's a 6th round pick and you're looking for depth at that spot. I liked Nathaniel Watson in the 7th. Overall I give it an A.

The one thing that they definitely was not thinking was that they were going to get a quarterback that would help lead them to get to 9 SB and win 6 of them. If they thought Brady was going to be that they wouldn't have waited until the 6th round to draft him.
