I don't want to hear anything about a backup Quarterback. The Eagles won the first matchup when the Cowboys had their backup Quarterback in the game and late in the 4th quarter the Cowboys were well within the game. So now you Eagles fans cry and complain about how the Eagles lost because they had a backup. There's a pretty good chance the Cowboys will meet up with the Eagles in the playoffs and both teams will have their starting quarterbacks. Then we can see at that point who's the better team. Just remember this much, Dak owns the Eagles with an 8-3 record against them.

Yes minshew is the backup but your argument holds no weight. Because the first match up was a 26-17 score. Philly was up 20-3 at half. Only generated 1 td after that when the cowboys came back to make 20-17 with their backup. Things could have played out differently but the excuses are bs. But this is exactly what Micah Parsons was saying. It's not all Jalen Hurts. The Eagles team is just solid all around - and Minshew played just as well as anyone could. Dallas defense forced turnovers (with the exception of the one handoff fumble) - while Eagles defense even at full strength did not. I would say Minshew played much better than Cooper Rush did back when Cowboys had a backup QB - and both games came down to the wire.
