I'm fed up. It's obvious that something is going on within the Cowboys organization. They seem to prefer acquiring XFL players, investing in older players, and hesitating to pay deserving players. On top of that, Dak now has more leverage than ever. If I were him, I would consider signing with another team because this situation is a mess.
@justinoswalt90283 ай бұрын
Yeah, their books are a mess and they are trying to clean them up. All these restructures and contract reworks have added a bunch of dead money onto their cap. Ddlid you know the dead money for Zeke this year is more than his new contract? And that dead money is from 2 or 3 years ago. Wanna know why we didn't spend 8 mil on a free agent RB? Because we have over 21 million in dead money on our cap this year. And if we keep restructuring deals to free up money for new signings every year, it's going to get worse and worse. Trying to reset our books, spend big money on our cornerstones: Dak, Ceedee, Micah, and then fill in around them with young, cheap talent. (Draft) That's what they are doing. It's a soft rebuild. Next year you'll see expensive veterans allowed to walk away. For multiple years, Jerry has watched teams follow this concept and whoop our ass in the playoffs. San Fran, Green Bay, etc...

Absolutely, on point! In addition, if I were Dak I would be sick of taking total blame for the Green Bay loss. If he played the perfect game, they still may have lost due to defense. Unless front office starts making some major moves, they will have NOONE to blame but them selves for not making it further in the playoffs! Jerry wants a ring, he needs to spend like it!!!

Bc they stubborn. This front office still doesn't see the problem on defense. Every team knows if you want to beat Dallas, just run the ball 25+ time smh

I’m frustrated w lack of direction from Jones. Certainly something is up. It could be waiting on Dak to see what kind of season he has and possibly what kind of postseason he has. Certainly we agree he has frozen in big moments. Even in regular season against quality opponents. If he has the same season this year are we happy having him on board for next 4 years at $65M per year. This is chance number 9 for Dak. Who gets that many chances?

This is the year where we will see just how poorly this team drafts outside of the 1st round. Tolbert should have been cut after year 1, Jerry's kids like to keep draft picks around to make them look like they know how to draft.

The problem with this team is that you have the Jones family picking players for a Mike McCarthy offense. Smurf WRs will work in a different scheme... MMc has always had big strong WRs in Green Bay. This is why you need a real GM and not the owners offspring building the roster. Nice yacht!

Why do you need to see Plenty of Trey?, He was a Starter in the NFL & Preseason,I believe 5 -8 games,The only reason he is not backing up Purdy,is because Purdy caught fire,why sit behind a young QB,so Treys Agent called JJ 1st,why? Because JJ has a 9 yr Vet who is a Choker!!!!! Perfect Fit!He doesn’t have to prove anything!!!2025 Then you’ll see it,Here or somewhere else……

I agree, Brooks making contested catches in practice on backup corners doesn't mean much to me. I've heard Tolbert has played all three WR spots and been very good at all of them. Cowboys love versatility out of there WR'S so between Tolbert's 4.4 speed and that he's our WR3.

@petepanagiotopoulos13503 ай бұрын
@@operationzenith6030 have you looked at Brooks college stats and draft profile. His stats were borderline awful and his draft profile says he his average to bad at everything that a WR needs to do on a consistent basis in the NFL. Larry had 4x as many yards/ 3x as many receptions/ 17x as many TD'S as Brooks did and that was in 1 less year. Brooks isn't a starting caliber WR in this league no matter what these guys say about how he looks in practice against 3rd rate CB'S.
