Hello Sir, I was wondering. Can some Casinos have Class 2 slots as well as having class 3 slots? Here in Southern CA, a casino near me features games that show the cards, which I assume are class 2, and some that don't, which I assume are class 3. you probably already discussed it, but what happens if the jackpot must hit by is not achieved? is it a guarantee that the amount will have to be paid out?

A jackpot that is labeled as a Must Hit By will pay out before that amount listed. So it’s always achieved. The closer it gets to the number listed the higher odds you have to hit it. So if it where a $10,000 Must hit by and it ever got to $9,999 than the player would have a 100% Chance to hit it. Remember, Must Hit By machines are always clearly labeled as such and will show the amount it must hit before.

From what you've said, it seems that upping your bet on these machines is not the same as changing denominations on a multi-denom machine. So you're not changing machines or changing your odds. All it's doing is draining your winnings faster unless you hit something. For me, I'd rather stick with what I'm on and last longer. Rather than blow the winnings on dead spins. But it can pay off...IF. That's a big if, and a risk. (I know everything is a risk, that's why it's gambling. Still, is that wise advice?)

True. With these games it’s all one denom so the odds are not changing when you increase your bet. You are correct it will drain a bankroll faster, however it does add up that progress quicker and you have the chance for some really good line hits. Even at $1 denom when playing max you can get a jackpot with 5 of a kind and the bonuses can be great.

@@CowboySlots I guess it's a matter of feeling it and preferring to gamble bigger off of the "house money" from some winnings. But I would think if you're willing to play $20 or max $25 that you would want to start there and stay there. For instance, your first bonus was in the $300 range on $10 bet. Your 2nd bonus was about the same on $20 bet. It appears you missed out on a $600 bonus on the first one since you were only playing $10 bets. I realize this is one small instance out of a ton of game play for you, but it seems to go against the advice of "always bet max" or "double your money and move up a denom". Just curious about your thought process. Is there something in your experience for feeling out a machine like that or was it just a spur of the moment gut feeling?

Dear Cowboy - Slots often have a bonus where you pick from a group of "Hiden Prizes" until you match 3 to show you your bonus - OFTEN, it is the "minimum" bonus but then reveals that if you had picked different, the prize would have been a different outcome - DOES IT MATTER WHAT YOU PICK IN YOUR BONUS? Did you really just pick the wrong tiles? Did "what you pick" ever make a difference in the outcome of the prize?

Hey Mike, Some of the bonus games are pre-determined however with what you are describing it sounds like on that game it is not pre-determined. The easiest way to tell is if at the end of selection, if it reveals what the other choices were, then it was not predetermined and the outcome would have been different had you selected otherwise.
