I wish more people would go back to eating their traditional foods. We would all be a lot healthier.

I've made this dish numerous times since I saw this video 8 years ago and it is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I can never get scotch bonnet peppers so I improvise with habernero peppers instead. Also I don't know exactly what this does to the human body but if you're trying to have kids (or in some cases struggling to have kids) this dish will effortlessly increase your odds. Without a shadow of doubt my wife was pregnant with at least 2 of my 9 kids after we ate this dish.

My Jamaican host family in England cooked that once, 3 years ago. I left England with no memories of the British cuisine, but that awesome Jamaican cow foot dish has been haunting me ever since...

You may use the Grace Scotch Bonnet hot pepper sauce to replace the actual pepper.

Hi Leejay, Scalding is a process that the cow foot goes through in preparation. To scald the cow foot: Place cow foot in a pot, cover with enough tap water and bring to a boil. Boil for about 1- 2 minutes then discard that water. The cow foot may also be immersed in enough boiling water to cover for about 1-2 minutes before discarding the water. Scalding may also be referred to as blanching. Kind regards, Grace Foods.
