I had and returned the E7 Pro as they were too bulky and had a lot of popping sounds when I moved around even with ANC enabled. these look lighter-weight and I really wanted a decent one with aptx and bluetooth 5.0. These look pretty comfortable too

The earcups are pretty shallow. I didn't feel the driver, but folks with protruding ears might.

They are shallower for sure. I compared them to the TaoTronics BH060 in a recent video and would recommend the TaoTronics if you need deeper earcups ✌️

I love your reviews. They’ve been so helpful and entertaining! I was hoping for your opinion, please? I’ve fallen in love with the look of the Cowin SE7’s dark red version. I’m not an audiophile at all, but I narrowed it down to this and the TaoTronics updated 46. The look of the upgraded 46 is okay, I prefer the gold over the black, but again, I love the SE7’s appearance by far. Not being an audiophile, is there a huge difference in quality between the SE7 and TT46? And if so, do you think it’s worth me skipping over the SE7 for the TT46? Thank you so much!

I’d appreciate if you could add more feedback concerning the audio mic cord, if in fact there’s one. I have a Bose QC35 II and was highly disappointed that Bose made the female audio jack a 2.5mm that is rather “touchy” because the male plug must be a 2.5mm with “non conventional” 3 rings, and unless one has the correct adapter, it doesn’t work! Bose mic cord isn’t as good as the Beats (in my opinion) so I hated that I had to find “the right” adapter in order to use my Beats mic cord with the Bose...I figured a $350 pair of headphones would come with mic cord that works at least as well as the Beats. Not only it doesn’t work as well, Bose doesn’t include a mic cord...it’s another $20 investment, which to me, is pretty lame for a $350 pair of headphones. However, I must say, the Bose QC35 II is outstanding noise cancellation bluetooth headphones!! I need the mic cord for singing in Smule as the app doesn’t work well with bluetooth headphones. Thanks!

Ha! So am I! I've been trying to figure out which I like better out of these, Skullcandy Venue and NC90. All three are really great. Skullcandy Venue= Best Sounding, best ANC SE7= Best build and comfort NC90= Great sound, 2nd best ANC That's about all I can help you with.

I would choose the SE7. The sound is very close. The ANC is just a little bit better with the E8 because the earcups are huge. But overall, I think you would be happier with the SE7

I would have to say the NC90 sound a little better... But these are so damn comfortable!!!! I've been using them since the review. I had the Crusher360 on for a little while then switch to these.

The XM3 are waaaaay more expensive. Yes they sound better and have more technology built into them, but you pay a heavy price. The NC90 and SE7 sound really great and have respectable ANC for a fraction of the price.

Simon Patterson - Fall for You is the track, has elements of what i like, vocals, trancy sound, but some good solid bass too
