Great film and really important documentation! I'm researching the Cowley plant for a project for my MA in art and place. Please would you be prepared to share the footage with me?

That's where my little Morris Minor (the original 1928-1934 Minor) open two-seater was built 92-years-ago, on 11th April 1932. I took it back to Cowley on the 90th anniversary of it passing down the production line. I parked on Alec Issigonis Way, which is the exact location of the Morris Works back in the late-1920s, early-1930s. It's a bland, faceless business park now.

Thanks for your comment, I hope you keep coming for the reunion/rally. Yes all very sad. I live about 2 miles north of the site on the Eastern bypass

Good to know someone has seen my video, taken from my 1st floor office in M Building. Only sorry that my battery ran out just before they lifted off the bit of the bridge conveyor that crosses the bypass. I too left in 2000. Best wishes
