It's not the matter of mechanics it's all about game knowledge... Master Yi is one of the easiest hard carries to master, he's a high risk high reward junglers, he offers NOTHING but his DPS. So to be succesful in this champion (SPECIALLY IN HIGH ELO) you have to have a really great overall game knowledge (specially in jungle, matchups, macros etc...) if you snowball you're basically carrying your team and if you fall behind specially against a CC heavy opponent you're pretty much useless unless they don't end it before you scale... Cowsep is a Master Yi one trick he knows everything about this champion (his mechanic, matchups, counters, etc...).... So to sum this up Cowsep is a onetrick of a really easy champion to master, hard to counter, heavy snowballing champion and pair that up with his very good game knowledge(and you think acquiring that much game knowledge is simple) that's why he excels in climbing to high elo in alot of servers...

Either you’re as dumb as the champ, or you can’t admit to yourself that the game is too complicated for you to play it normally. So you have to resolve to maining a champ who’s entire gameplay revolves around clicking 1 button because your brain can’t handle a more complicated gameplay... “High risk high reward”? Please sit down with me and explain to me where you came up with the “high risk” portion of this sentence. Last time I checked, there are basically no risks in playing this champ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hate the common opinion on Yi. Yes, is easy to use but is also easy to mess it up. Is the best champion to learn how to jungle, for me it was at least. Its balance in its onwn ways, i've said it.

@@petterbarstad9395 if it was just the turret it wouldnt be as clean as it is here. he blocked turret, cait AA, thresh ignite and reset his AA. it doest get much better than that. his flash was therefore amazing as well + he did this in like 1.5 seconds on low hp

That’s the problem though, it SHOULD be ridiculously hard to pull that off with ANY champ. But doing so with master yi is so much easier than with other champs. He gets to pull of “plays” like that a lot easier than other champs. But here’s my problem with him: a 1v5 or a pentakill is supposed to be the expression of a superior level of skill and total mastery of a champ and the game. A lot of the comments here say “it’s not just that yi is broken, cowsep also knows the game very well”... I’d like to see cowsep do the same thing with other champs. Even though he does have a great understanding of the game, he’d get totally wrecked on other champs simply because other champs can’t do it (as easily). “Being good” at master yi is basically bragging about being good at multiplying by 2. Change my mind
