Cox Baby Bee .049 Bench Run Test

I acquired this nice Cox Baby Bee .049 glow engine with a few other hobby items a while back and I've been wanting to give it a test run ever since, so this morning I got it all setup to have a try. I used to fly control-line model planes as a kid with these small Cox .049 engines and I have some great memories of those days. For this test, I'm using a Cox 6x3 black plastic prop and some 35% nitro fuel just to test and blow out the cob webs. The engine fired right up and with the needle 2 1/2 turns out she settled into a nice RPM range. Overall, I;m pleased with this one and with a bit more running I think it will find a new home on some 1/2A control-line model at some point.
