I remember this race, his win in the Australian Cup and the great tragedy of the Melbourne Cup well. A very sad day.

I was born 1982 so wasn’t even alive - it seemed like Dulcify was an amazing talent but even then still a little raw? Before that Cox Plate? It seemed he’d put some amazing runs together but could do couple of things wrong maybe? And Cox Plate day this freak of a talent put it all together. What a win and his stride here just looks so perfect. Just picture perfect. Goosebumps

I always put him in the top 5 horse I ever seen,such a pity he broke down in the cup,he would have won it very easy.Vain up to a mile,Kingston town in any Cox Plate, Galilee when not injured at any distance Manikato,and Dulcify.

Brent was outstanding…he won me a lot of money…especially at Flemington and Mooney Valley
