They’re everywhere nowadays. Over in Glendale, CA they’re walking around during the day without a care in the world. I saw one on my walk and it tried to come near me. Luckily I was wearing fairly thick gloves so I wasn’t too worried about having to fight it. I started running after it and it ran off into someone’s yard. I guess if you show them that your not afraid to pursue them they’ll leave you alone 🤷‍♂️

Get bear spray. It will make things a lot easier on you. Hunting them down isn't hard if you carry a hand gun, and they come toward you, unless you're too squeamish to kill the coyote, and let it go maul some other person's child, or pet. They breed at such a fast rate that once they are causing problems them the numbers of them are out of control. These game commissioners, and wildlife biologist are not worth their pay. We have one running our back property, and it won't be much longer.

Wildlife management: Coyotes are in a class of least concern, rising population. In other words, as far from endangered as you can get. They can be found all over North America and their population is estimated at being at an all-time high. California law makers: thou shalt never, ever touch a coyote, it's your fault for living where they want to live, against the law to protect yourself from them in any fashion that impedes on their ability to freely roam around your home, where your kids play, your pets walk, etc.

I had two attack me and my dog here in Nevada recently. What I did is stomp. Once I picked up my dog & got a couple feet & their started stalking me I stared them down & stomped my feet so are they hurt for hours afterwards. I stared them down as if I had a fk'n gun & screamed as loud as I could NO & stomped. Then slowly backed away until I could get away. My dog got hurt pads from me dragging her unexpectedly all of a sudden but other than that it's all good. It has to come from within you, you HAVE TO be ready, fight! They can feel the energy. There were coyotes everywhere in Afghanistan. When we did morning or night pt, my battles and I always had our m4's with at least 2 40 round magazines which equaled 120 rounds of ammunition..plus I'm an eagle eye shooter!
