I don't know if you ever drove a Ford Marader! You are right, with the right tune a coyote motor is awesome . Faster than any of the Vetts and cameras and Trans ams I grew up wit . I'm 60 and still love to spend most of my time in the garage ! Like your channel .

Apart from the issue with having to buy multiple cams the Coyote engines are quite well set up out of the gate getting very close to 100 hp/liter. Spending a good chunk of change for cams that will ultimately be a ´robbing Peter to pay Paul´ scenario by hurting your bottom end just doesn´t make much sense.

Adding camshafts is not enough. You need a ported better flowing intake manifold as well. You need an 18 plus, GT350, Boss or a Cobra Jet intake. And any of those that you choose, will need to be ported. Then comes down to heads. If you have a Gen 2 coyote, a Roadrunner/Boss or an 18 on up, the heads are better than Gen 1 Coyote heads. But still would be best to do ported heads as well. So, in reality, it’s cheaper to go boost!!!!

Can Crower regrind those like on my 5.4 4v? It's only $600 for all 4. Then use the spacer.

Most coyote cars are somewhat heavy. Unless it's a swapped car the power adder makes more sense and adjusting stock cams to optimize. But there are cam swaps that show really good power but they're typically serious racer stuff so it's just not posted all over or as popular as power adder mustang guys.

keep your exhaust stock from factory or put it back to stock exhaust...buy STAGE 2 supercharger kit from Whipple Roush OR Kenne Bell...all three are in california and provide a 49 state legal system that pass emission with EPA C.A.R.B EO#. ford chevy and dodge they make superchargers for all three
