We'll have a dozen or more coyote's come to the farm at once. My son and I will use the long ranger in 223 with a couple of the box magazine's. We save the pelt's for the Navajo reservation, because they can really use the Pelt's. I also love the 243 long ranger for everything but the largest game like Buffalo. 243win is a underrated. I would love to see Henry make a long ranger in 22-250, and some takedown rifle's. Happy New Year to the entire Henry family and all those who follow the Henry family. God Bless all of you!

Question. Will Henry also sell spare barrels for these Long Ranger lever-action rifles? Calibers like .243 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and (to a lesser degree) .223 Remington are barrel burners.

Need to check out the 243 Long Ranger. I'm a right handed person but a left hand shooter. It is difficult for me to handle bolt actions . Lever ,, pumps and automatic rifles work better for me but do not normally have the accuracy of a bolt action need for long distance accuracy,

I am 100% with you guys on the hunting for meat to eat. I am old now and did so much hunting in my younger years. Please stop killing coyotes for the fun of it. What did you gain from that ?? I would love to know !!!

They are a invasive species that kill live stock and destroy local ecosystems. They aren’t native where I live so we kill them all the time as much as we want. Cry about it.

The coyotes we hunt are over populated in our area. We hunt them mostly for ranchers who are losing there calves to coyotes. They cost our ranchers a lot of money each year. Thanks for the comment and God bless!

@@HenryUSA I've raised cattle all my life and lost more to lightning than to coyotes.
@wheelguns4wheelmen802 Жыл бұрын
numerous Fish and Game studies in different states show fawn predation rates of over 50% by coyotes (with all other animals taking the remaining percent), so not only do they hunt livestock, but they also drastically reduce the deer population, and I eat more venison steaks than coyote steaks...
@kevinlong9254 Жыл бұрын
@@wheelguns4wheelmen802 No argument if you feel that way. All I was saying is after 40 years of raising tons of cattle and hogs and geese and ducks and chickens, coyotes were never a problem, we lost more livestock to other causes but if they are a huge problem for you guys, I'm all for killing them by the boat loads. I would be pissed off too if I were in your situation.

We hunt coyotes here to help ranchers calving and also to help our deer and turkey population. Coyote numbers here are extremely high and do a lot of damage. Thanks for the comment and God bless! - Cody

Coyotes cost our ranchers thousands of dollars a year in our area and are very over populated here. That is why we do it. Thanks and God bless.

Keven with all due respect , hunting and reducing predator species is a part of conservation programs and is very neassary in controlling population and protecting farming and community as well. Your point of view is appreciated.
@kevinlong92543 жыл бұрын
@@waynecastleman1363 Believe me, I was a hunter for 45 years until I unfortunately got old. Killing for the fun of it is odd. That is why the bison herds disappeared. I'm happy to see more coyotes and owls because they help so much in keeping the small animal population in check. But whatever, it isn't worth arguing about.
