Not that I’ll be coyote swapping any new edge any time soon but any info on how you were able to keep the factory new edge system while also having the coyote pcm.

For the sake of brevity in a comment. The Coyote is controlled by a Ford ECU and harness that stands alone. This leaves the existing body harness and systems intact. The rest is hours of labor in the details of wiring into the factory gauges and things of this nature to create a blend of all the factory features working while having the modern drivetrain.

Hey I ordered the Odin kit and have 1 question about the whole process . The tutorials are pretty simple for the s550s but with it being a sn95 car idk how to route the purge valve . I know one side goes to vmp throttle body that is supplied but what about the other side would you have any idea where I’d route it ? I really appreciate what you guys do no worries if you can’t help just let me know if I should send a email to someone please !

Understandable. This incredibly clean car came in with a hurt supercharged 2v engine and a Coyote engine made sense for the owner's goals and desired usage of the car.

Shit i would rather do it to a saleen honestly. I get they didn't make many but a normal s281 just has a normal run of the mill 2v in it there is absolutely nothing at all special about the power plant. I could see the argument not swapping a cobra r or a terminator but outside of that there is no reason a coyote shouldn't be swapped into it.

Why are torque #'s so low.???? . Like the way it sounds. Just no real torque at all.. Nice parts and install..

He said it has stock cats and stuff that really kills power and def kills torque. Plus the coyote isn't known for having much torque anyways even with a full exhaust it would be lucky to hit 600 torque. I like the old 5.4 and 5.8 in the gt500s they have about the same torque as hp when running a similar setup the torque is unreal. The coyotes are def good performers for sure. Also prefer the sound of the 5.4/5.8

Mfers overrate “torque” so much it’s getting irritating. The car pulls like a raped ape to 7-8k while your shifting your spin monster 5.4-5.8 at 6200 to keep the rods happy. All go and no show. Same people bitching about torque are the ones who plow into crowds and fishtail into ditches. Can’t even handle what y’all are complaining (unnecessarily) about 🥴🤦🏾‍♂️😂

I’m not the idiot here, but you’re too much of one to realize that 🤣 For starters tell me at what point did you see this car “not moving” as you put it, “sitting there as much as it wants” 🤷🏾‍♂️😂 2) horsepower is a calculated as a derivative of torque at a given rpm, divided by a constant. Torque x rpm/5252. If the car makes 750 whp at redline, still climbing sharply upward at the end of the pull, it indicates a broad flat TORQUE curve... which we see on the dyno sheet. Both of which is impossible if the car is “not moving”’ lmao Just admit you were bitching for the sake of bitching, and it made you look like a bitch, and get out the comment section... this is only going to get worse for you the longer this dialogue goes lol

I own my own business fixing and repair vehicles. Better yet I a street legal race car daily.. What do you got keyboard master?? It's Sunday I'm at my shop working on a truck right now..
