Can you explain the “night latch” to a beginner?

Yes it is a groove filed on the pan latch.were the dog latches you want it to were the pan is flat when in this position. When it’s in this position the trap is ready to go. MB traps have night latch built in and you have to do no modification to them. They are ready to go out of box. I hope this helped out

Thank you for watching and subscribing. Cavens Hiawatha Valley Bait works very good and have been experimenting with my own bait made out muskrat and other ingredients that works really well. A good coyote gland lure works really well and red fox gland lure works good too. Cavens Gusto and violator 7 Lures works really good also
