This is beautiful. Like looking across a lake at sunset, which is what caught my eye when it saw it in the sideline after watching one of Heather Mader's paintings. I bought Pebeo's Green/Gold (not sure if that's it's correct name) and then wondered why because it's not a colour I'd ever use. Well I tried it and it was fabulous, especially on a black background, and now it's probably my favourite colour - completely against anything I normally like.

Kathleen, I think the Indian yellow is beautiful and it goes great with your wipe colors add a tad of gold to enhance it and a touch of bright yellow to change the look of it , I love it it also looks great with red , black, and white!!! Really pretty!!! Your swipe is beautiful it turned out fantastic I love it , you done a fantastic job on this painting and it really looks suffocated in the frame wow love it !!! Isn't it funny how we have colors that just irritate us? I typically find mine hidden far in the back behind all the other colors. I'm so impressed with what you did with that Indian Yellow! Even though you had to do touch-ups after the painting dried to get it out of the swipe line. This is gorgeous and I bet it would sell in a hot minute! That Indian yellow has become one of my favorites. Yes i have to make myself give some colors a try. I am such a neutral girl. Pretty much allergic to color. My entire house is taupe and gray hues. But I sure like painting with colors. Now get your butt to bed girl 🙃🙃🥱🥱

ROFL at, "That Indian yellow has become one of my favorites." Cathleen, I understand how that can happen, but I promise you that there is no way I'm ever going to add what I call 'Baby-Poop-Green' to MY favorite color list...YUCK!! However, I WILL use it for an accent in painting (if I have to🙄). I tend to be allergic to all the bright pinks. It's a holdover from when our daughter age 1 through12 REQUIRED EVERYTHING TO BE PINK! Too much pink (especially pared with baby blues **shudder**) gives me pink hives! Yeah, I tend toward neutrals in home decor, too. It's more restful. I accent with a few pops of color so I can easily change my decor when I want. OK, here's another ROFL... I had just gotten OUT of bed. I was watching your video to help me wake up, so I could attend a Zoom meeting originating in Perth Australia at 7:30pm their time (which is 4:30am here in California). Thank you for helping waking up. You're the BEST! 😘😎😘
