Hi friends, oh this is a long one! I hope you enjoyed this Q&A. I tried to get to all questions, but some require a longer answer, so I'll make a separate video! I wanted to quickly address something I said about being an Introvert & managing friendships: - here I am talking specifically about people that are outside of your circle and about making new friends/ becoming close friends with someone. I am not talking about your loved ones and family. I think here the boundaries are very different and both sides need to meet half way, no matter whether you’re an introvert or not. Both need to find mutual respect.
@escapetorural2 ай бұрын
Thanks for clarifying! It’s so true-when it comes to family and close friends, it’s really about mutual respect and understanding, regardless of personality types. Building new friendships can feel different, especially for introverts, but finding that balance in relationships is key. Can’t wait to hear more of your thoughts in your next video!

One thing as a somewhat introverted person I have never had is FOMO.. I feel it's more the JOMO (joy of missing out) I've never felt like I am missing out on things. And when I do decide to join others on work outings and such, after an hour or two there, I am reminded why I DON'T enjoy such gathering. Maybe it's because as I've grown older i feel protecting my peace is more important than anything else 😊
@vincentkr3w2 ай бұрын
I feel that. It's self love to choose oneself first when other options are available. That's what feels good. That's JOMO🥰

Totally relate to this, I’m a real lover of nature and find it so healing. I’m also quite an introvert, who used to have to be an extrovert in my managerial role I had a few years ago. I identify the mask wearing! I live a much quieter life now, slow living and living in the moment. I’ve discovered a love of photography in nature. Lovely channel, really nice and relaxing vlogs and nice to learn more about you 🍂💚🍂

Good morning Daria! Thank you for sharing so much of yourself today. I feel the same about planning social interactions at the appropriate times so I’m focused and relaxed instead of overwhelmed. It is hard to keep my mind from thinking about things too much. In the past I would never speak out for fear of seeming combative or difficult. I try not to be reactive but I find now if something really bothers me I will say something to address the issue. When someone tells you not to stress about something or not to think about it, that doesn’t simply help. Lovely scenery today. Enjoy your weekend! 🤎

You've assimilated into your cultural surroundings and made a lovely life for yourself there, learning the language, etc. Like you, I don't have an attachment to my birth country and have made a different country my own {the US}. Really can relate to what you say about selfcare time. I need lots of alone time. I've never met a man who also has that need. Unfortunately not even my husband.... I'm 64 years old and found out four months ago that I've autism. I've been masking so much in my life that I almost don't know how not to do it. I have 'work' to do! Great beautiful video! ⭐️🌟⭐️ Totally with you regarding ticks. Detest these horrible creatures so much that I don't want to go to our cottage in the forest at summer. One summer day my husband & I picked altogether 70 - 80 ticks from our rough collie's face.....😬 (she's medicated against them, but I still don't want them near her). Such lovely autumn colours in the video! 🍁🍂🍁🍂 /Ditte 🤓

Aah thank you for sharing your experience! These are such important things to learn and understand about yourself and unfortunately our environment doesn’t always support that! I loved this video!! The autumn vibe is soooo beautiful in the 'secret garden'. The colours, the old amazing trees and you answering our questions! Loved to hear where you were born and how you met your husband. I thought that was quite surprising: both in the same metal band! I have become someone who loves her moments alone, but i also do love people. It really is finding the balance! I'm 63 now and happy to have learned to say no or say that i need time to think about it before i say: "yes". That has been a real progress for me, being able to express these true feelings. It doesn't always come easy, but i know i have to to keep myself happy!! Thank you for this long video, i've enjoyed it a lot and it brought me some peace and quiet. Lots of love 🧡

When we are in our twenties I believe most all especially women are trying desperately to get to where we want to be in life we can place so much of our energy into what we believe we want yet what we don’t yet understand is that we are only just becoming adults it is these experiences throughout life that refine us as we mature further into our thirties we slowly realize that our thoughts change we gain wisdom and realize what we once thought was such a priority may no longer have been what was necessarily the best for us. As life truly is a journey it takes a decade or longer to come into our own what motivates us learning who we are realizing to accept ourselves vs following a crowd to fit a mold each layer we shed of seasons past we are gaining knowledge of who we really are which in turn changes our perspective which we simply cannot force it is time spent year after year changing growing living….Thank you for sharing!🍁🍂

😃👍Dear Daria, thank you so much for this wonderful Q&A! 🙏 And of course, for answering my question! (BTW, it is amazing how perfectly well you pronounced my name!👌) You've given me some much needed tips to deal with an issue I find myself struggling with, and I also relate to what other subscribers asked, so I must thank both you and them for this lovely chat. 😊 It has been really useful, and have enjoyed it immensely! Your idea of having the speaking time interspersed with a walk, spending time in nature and returning to the cosiness of home was so great too! It gave movement and a story to this Q&A, instead of being static, as they usually are. And you were in a metal band!🤘😜 I noticed your voice was great for singing. (Now I'm picturing you as a young Tarja Turunen! 😉) Oh, and before I forget, I received your print this week (so thoughtfully packed and with a lovely sticker!😍) and I totally love it! Framed it immediately and it is a joy to watch! (And no tax issue this time!😁👍) Thank you for everything!! 🤗👏👏👏🥰😘

I truly appreciate your videos--they help to get me back to a proper head space, especially after a week at my employment. I too, also used to think I was an extrovert, but after carving out more time to myself over the years, I have also come to believe that I am an introvert personality. I purposefully did not subscribe or purchase a "smart" phone, as I could see from the start of that phenomenon that it would likely become overwhelming. I do not like the idea of my entire life being caught up in a smartphone, so I have kept my old flip phone for my long distance verbal communications, and only check it for close faminly and friends updates. I am seeing what smartphone technology has done to our world, and I do not like it at all. My idea of a good day, is to be at home and paint (watercolors primarily). I'm hoping to retire from my employment in another year (if that is still possible)--here in the U.S. nothing is for certain right now.

Something I've always wanted to ask you- does someone go along with you to record your nature walks? As a woman, I don't feel like I can access nature alone, because I'm too wary of how vulnerable I am to being attacked. How do you find confidence to be a lone woman in nature, and how do you keep safe?

There is this saying in Japan that sometimes the soul is not born to the right land, meaning your mentality and way of being just does not suit the country you were born in. I feel that deeply too. Born in Poland, I am neither catholic or a traditionalist, I hate the cusine and the weather. Sadly as a disabled person I am not wanted in any country being seen as burden to taxpayers. I am very happy to see another person from slavic nations finding place she belongs to :-) Best of luck to both of you!
