found your channel on my constant manga browsing on youtube and have to say, i love your content (watching back-to-back from 4 months ago now). i am also learning Japanese right now and will totally try the series in japanese when i get my hands on it. my first language is german and i am constantly reading in english to practice. i think reading in the language you want to learn is so much better than textbooks. also i think reading books you already read in your first language helps immensely. keep up the videos. love them !

Aww thank you so much Nina, that means a lot to me ❤️ I learned with textbooks for a while and I still try to do that every now and then, but I find immersion through listening and reading to be incredibly beneficial once you know the basics . I also agree that reading something in your original language first helps a lot!

It has been a frequent spot for me, gets me out of the house and just has a really calming vibe. Also, thank you, I loved those nails haha Libraries and cafes need to be mandatory everywhere, they’re the two places I feel the most comfortable outside my house. Thank you!! 💕 I didn't think I could study both languages at once cos I was focused on achieving some level of fluency but once I switched my focus to input, it became easier for me. I already consume a lot of content in both languages anyway 😌
