I'm happy to say that I've noticed you seem to be a lot happier in Tennessee, not that you weren't before in California, but you seem to be a more relaxed happy if that makes sense. 😀

Loving the sound of your garden plans and chickens. The wildflower idea for your property is going to look gorgeous and bring pollinator's. Glad your feeling better. My daughter just recovered from covid and so many people have had the Flu this season. Sooo looking forward to spring and warmer weather.

Hola chica! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I liked your recipe for the tacos. I am Mexican and something that we do to add a little more flavor to refried beans is that we put a little olive oil in the pan, heat it up and add chopped onions, like a quarter of an onion for 1 can, and like 1 clove of garlic. Let them stir-fry a little, and then once they're nice and sautéed add the beans and mix together. So good! 👌🏽 Thank you for all your videos. I really enjoy watching them! 🙂

Great to see you back, Rachel! I will also be planting seeds and flowers soon here in PA. Your video inspires me to get moving on the cleaning, trimming, etc, that needs to be done in preparation for gardening season. Would love to see a weekly video post by you. Your lifestyle is very similar to mine - natural, outdoorsy, active, and music-loving. Peace and health to you and yours!

Hi Rachel , you can add little oil in that potato like take out potato and then add oil and spices then add the same texture of potato its a India dish (aloo (potato) bhuna (rosted)) every home have their own spice a style but yea this is all we grow up having this easy a simple. And you can skip mayonnaise and add yogurt along with mint etc everything remain same. You can add a sprinkler spice mix (can be added to any thing) coriander seeds, cumin seeds, whole black pepper, and salt roast all of it without any oil and ground it in coarse

No. Not at all. He was filming this video haha He was working outside all day clearing the forest before we started filming, but we just didn't capture footage of him this time. We used to use more tripod shots, and be in each others videos more, but lately we've been filming each other and getting more hand held camera shots. He literally does everything from cleaning, cooking, yard work, and we work on our business together. We're very much a team with everything! I will try to capture him in more videos soon. xo

Watch "dairy is scary" a 5 minute video on how dairy cows and calves are treated for people's taste pleasure then watch "the best speech ever" Gary Yourofsky. If you are against animal abuse you would be and promote veganism not vegetarianism and be a voice for the animals in hell, being treated worse than our worst criminals. I cannot judge, as I was paying to hurt animals all my life. I can only tell others as noone told me, I person can make a difference. Its 2024. We can no longer plead ignorance for our victimful pleasures caused by being speciesists

Not sure if it's just the mic quality or the way you're angled when speaking but it makes it really difficult to watch your videos with the 's' 't' 'e' being so harsh. I find myself always needing to turn your audio down significantly compared to other videos because tbh, it hurts. I like your content but it's definitely something I've noticed and after not watching you for a while, coming back just reminds me of why I had to stop. I never noticed as much when it was just your music that was too loud compared to the vibes of the video, but the vocal audio is too harsh ignore. Hoping for improvements soon, thanks
@racheltalbott
@racheltalbott 8 ай бұрын
Hey there. I appreciate you letting me know. Such a bummer to hear you had to stop watching because of that. I wonder if other people feel the same? 🙁 I guess I need to understand the complaint to know how to fix it… is the audio (in general) louder than other videos? I’ve been told before my audio is too low… Or is it possibly just the way I speak that you don’t like? I’ve been told my s’s are harsh when I speak into a microphone, and there’s not a whole lot I can do about that, except maybe go to a speech therapist. 😕 ooor maybe there’s a setting on the mic I can use to reduce the harshness. Possibly record farther back. I will experiment. Hopefully I can resolve this. My hope would be for these to be relaxing and not grating.

@@racheltalbott Just my two cents, Rachel. I'm a musician and always felt I have very "tuned in" ears. I've never had any problems with the audio in your videos or heard any mic clipping. I listen via my TV, Google pixel earbuds, another type of headphones and just my phone speaker. I was trying really hard to understand what they are talking about as well but couldn't hear it! It may just be the way you pronounce certain consonants which you can't help and shouldn't have to change.
@PrplMunkys
@PrplMunkys 8 ай бұрын
@@racheltalbott Oh I don't think it's the way you speak at all, I think it's just an audio issue to be honest. Perhaps a new mic you started using, or a new way you've recorded your voice overs for the past... well I'm not sure how long since it's been quite some time. I guess the best way I can describe it is, think ASMR videos where they speak in a whisper, except for turn up the audio on that significantly to where it's too harsh for the ears and is no longer pleasant. Just based on some quick googling, it looks like there might be ways to adjust your plosives and sibilance depending on which software your use or even just the mic you're using.
@PrplMunkys
@PrplMunkys 8 ай бұрын
@@arabella5871 We definitely aren't musicians here, but from what I've quickly googled, there seems to be an issue with sibilance and plosives that might just be due to her mic or the audio adjustments she's making when she's recording her voice overs. I just skipped to a random spot, 1:02 to 1:08 and you can hear pretty strong examples of this. In this case, I would need to turn her audio down and then readjust once I move on to someone's else's for it to be comfortable.
