Amy, how beautifully your room turned out! At the end as I was admiring it I was singing along, "Gloooooooooooooooria", and thanking God for the gift of home decorating He has given you. What a blessing to your family and all who enter your beautifully curated home. I love how you added the sleigh in front of your wall art, placed the burlap bag and tree in it and used it to tell a story tieing it together with the pictures. Loved that idea! Love the office. I love the cabinet mostly but all is really beautiful. We have a curio cabinet and 2 bookcases that we got wood shelving cut and I just stained them to match. Now whatever I place up there, you can see. Just a tip but your idea worked out great. Have a great day, Amy.

My husband cut a board to fit above my uneven cabinet tops. That way, I never have to "find" something to make it level.

We have so much in common in our decor. I have 3 thrifted village pieces that match the piece on your desk. I also put paint cans and a box on my hutch top and covered them with a fake snow sheet to make a Christmas village with taller galvanized houses behind them. Looks like a village on a hill with bottle brush trees. I also strung bells from the front I’ve had 2 birch sticks for years, this year my husband finally cut them into 6 pieces for me and I put them in the cute little deer plant stand (from Walmart) on my porch. I even have a similar brass candle stick. How I wish I had an office space, yours is so nice.

Amy! I have a cherry wood cabinet in my living room that I love to decorate. It has the same problem you have, with the big empty spaces , cause it has lights. I like to put greenery picks on it for Christmas. It is very difficult to do that, but your idea is awesome. Just wish I had seen your video before I decorated that area. My picks look good and I have a white satin bow in the middle. But next year Im going to try your idea. You always have the best solutions. Another great idea, to put a push pin in the rubber around the glass, although I don’t leave my doors open, cause my kitty would be too tempted to explore. Lol. Your cabinet turned out gorgeous for Christmas. I love putting seasonal decor in my cabinet. Its on the wall opposite where I sit in the morning with my coffee getting great ideas from my you tube girls. Iv’e always loved decor and making my home beautiful and comfortable. My favorite you tube ladies have given me a chance to learn how to upgrade my spaces, and take it up a notch. Thank you. 🤗🌲
