Cindy, I just adore your home, it is so warm, cozy and inviting! The fireplace wall decor is so beautiful! I love how you mixed all the various materials from wood to baskets, metal, ceramics and soft fabrics to create this cheerful and festive space! I can see myself curled up on the sofa with a good book and a hot cup of tea on a wintery night! Love it!

Alexa and smart outlets have been a godsend as far as Christmas lights in cold climates. She turns on all the lights to coincidence with sunset and off at 11 pm. Outdoor lights at our house go up on any warm weekend in October or November, but don't get turned on until Thanksgiving night. Alexa also picked the day the tree went up (absolutely not before Dec!), but I'll start changing out seasonal decor as my mood suits. Your place look lovely and cozy.

Hi Cindy, it's my first time here. Your fireplace is beautiful it's on the front of your video that's why I went on it.It looked interesting .I love rubb and buff too! All your pieces you used it on look great. I have two doors on my fireplace from the '70s and there was other things that I wanted to do first so I'm going to do what you did on your screen and do my doors with that rubbing buff. That is just so beautiful! I love the snowmen, the deer, the hand turned candle holder and especially the TV frame. I don’t think the average person could make this frame. You literally have a master craftsman in residence. How wonderful for you. You have shown us several things your husband has made through the years ( including the greenhouse/ she shed) and he is just so talented! One question, Cindy. Where is this year’s snowman? I saw you make him, so bring him on out, girl! Lol. Just teasing you. As to Rub ‘N Buff- my son introduced me to it in the ‘80’s when he had his own frame shop and I have had an ongoing love affair with it since. My favorite is still the Antique Gold, but the relatively new copper is an up and coming contender, have you tried it? Oh, the thrifted pheasants are gorgeous!
