Omg thank you so much! I've been stuck on how platforms work in Sims 4, I'm so used to how easy it was to build in Sims 3! This video helped so much. I don't know why you have to enter a cheat code to move objects in build mode, just seems tedious & unnecessary lol. It should just be active when you go into build mode! 🤦‍♀️Sims 3 is still way better though, you can color anything you want in any color, no pre-selected color that NEVER matches anything! 🤣

The only complaint I have with the build is the upstairs. Because of how complicated the roof is it’s very hard to see what your sim is doing upstairs.

This is an excellent video, very clear and precise, and worth watching even for a beginner. The house is very well done, though very conventional. On a personal opinion, I think the dining room is too far from the kitchen, there should be another bathroom upstairs, and the brick front steps should have the pattern rotated or matching the herringbone walkway pattern. There also should be a backyard deck or patio. I would love to see more vids focusing specifically on roofs, stairways and foundations, with a list of some of the keyboard shortcuts, etc. I watched the entire vid and will watch more. You really know building!

Me and my cousin got to 34:44 (we are noobs and we had taken 2 hours to get to then) we wanted a look so went out of build mode. The game then randomly shut- turns out sims 4 doesn’t automatically save builds. The rest of that night (? It was 4am by then) was spent crying and eating muffins. The build is beautiful (,:

Hey I been rebuilding little bits and pieces here and there to make it look better. I play on console not ps5. But why and how did the stairs for upstairs move. I’m so confused 😕. 😂I made it this far. I legit wanted a challenge for myself considering I SUCKKKKK At building in the sims 4. 😂but it’s not gonna be a the exact same as yours 😮but if u can reply that’d mean a lot to me. The one time I tried building this I got mad 😠 and quit and didn’t touch it since. But I am so glad I made it to the roofing. But I’m just confused as to why or how the stairs moved.
