I even got to play piano alongside the drummer of Casting Crowns, one summer, for a Worship event! It's something I really enjoy and brings me closer to God!! I hope you're having an amazing week!💜😊

What a beautifully decorated home. Loved the muted colors , baskets, and woods. My only thing was.... I could never, ever put something in front of that big beautiful mantel in the music room. I would have the piano in front of the window.. and the wingback chair and basket near the fireplace .

Thank you so much for your sweet words and for watching my video!❤️ That mantle was actually designed to be a backing for the piano to create a sense of grandness and height to the piano. The two pieces are actually one now. I don't like the look of a faux fireplace in that space because it actually made my space look cheap. We have a beautiful fireplace in our Fireside Room and I didn't want to take away from that. I also don't like putting large pieces of furniture in front of windows because it blocks the natural light and is the only source of light in that room. My piano is the focal point of this room because it is a music room, so I didnt want a mantle to take that away. My goal here was to create a unique piece with my piano that you don't normally see. As a designer, my mind thinks differently than just decorating. I hope that makes sense. 😊❤️
