As someone who recently bought noise canceling headphones, I ended up deciding on the Sony ones! And Oh. My. Gosh. They work sooooo so well! I tried both in store and the difference in noise canceling quality is huge, not because the Apple ones are bad, but because the Sony ones work so well. I get easily sensory overloaded by sound and as a person who lives with three other people who can barely hear and love to talk loudly and turn up the tv really loud, not to mention the four doggies, these are now an essential. Worth every dollar. The beige option is so cozy and goes with every outfit too!

My favorite for "mistakes" in to do lists are the erasable pens. You can remove the mistakes and write again. It's amazing for my fear of ruining new bullet journals and planners. 😂❤ I really like you're video's!

I can't speak on the Apple headphones, but I LOVE my Sony WH1000XM5's! Probably the best purchase I made last year. One thing I really love is the headphone controls-basically you are able to swipe your fingers over the outer earpad to change tracks, pause, or adjust the volume-it's so satisfying. You also simply hold your palm over the outer part of the right headphone to turn off noise cancelling and focus on the ambient sounds around you, which is great for traveling, being out in public, conversations, eavesdropping, etc. The Apple headphones also seem great, so I'm sure whatever decision you make you will be happy with! Thanks for all the wonderful recs-you've taken so many of your recs in the past and they are truly unmatched!!

A hamster ball over a solar light makes a cute outdoor light decoration especially around the holidays! Any time I find one at a thrift store, I buy it so it doesn’t torture another hamster and we use them to decorate outside

If I ever switch from using a laptop to getting a desktop, I already know I'm going to tumble down the keyboard modifications rabbit hole, lol. I got a cheap RGB board last year and changed the switches and keycaps on them, but it's still louder than I'd like. Unfortunately, I can't open it to add padding without likely damaging it, so I may have kind of wasted my money :/ I tried to still use it with my laptop, but my vision is bad and I need the laptop screen to remain close (I use both my laptop screen and a monitor for work). Also, about the long desks...I'm really happy I'm not crazy for feeling the same way! My desk is 24" by 55" and aside from wanting the desk to be deeper, I figured it was long enough. It absolutely isn't! My setup for work takes up all of the space and it's annoying pushing my work laptop aside to be able to use my personal laptop. I've tried using it on the couch, but those writing sessions never last long due to poor posture. I'm now debating on whether I want to maybe get a corner desk. I like the flexibility it would give me because I move frequently and perhaps my next apartment won't have a wall long enough for a 70"+ desk that also isn't against a wall shared with a neighbor. I take a lot of phone calls for my job and don't want my neighbors listening in/don't want to bother them with my voice (especially when I get those inevitable hard of hearing customers who SWEAR you're the one being too quiet, not them needing to turn up their phone, and so now I'm halfway screaming at them, lol). A small desk that I can move around would be nice.

Have had my Sony 1000MX3's for 4 years, and they're genuinely the best! Theyre so comfy for long work days and theres no noise leaks unless you prop the earpiece in a way to hear your surroundings (because im nosy hehe) but theyre truly noise cancelling. I work in an open lab where people are welding, and constantly coming in and out of our work area, and these just do such an amazing job!! Also use them at the gym, and it just makes my workout so much better without hearing clangs of weights and what not!

Bose QC45 has been my favorite over-ear. I’ve had the AirPod max ones and my mom ended up with them and I’ve had the Sony and my brother ended up with those 😅. The Bose is lighter and more comfortable on my head and over my ears for me. I use AirPod pros for most stuff though.

I definitely recommend the Sony headphones. When I got mine, I bout the Bose, Sony and Airmax with the intention to try all and return the 2 I didn't want to keep. Sony won in terms of comfort and sound quality.

I have these clip on cable baskets from amazon that are great! you clip them on to the back edge of your desk and it holds all the cables underneath the surface so you can’t see them!

Love your videos, and I have the Airpod Max Headphones and they are SO good. I would highly recommend them because the noise-cancellation is great, battery life is good and they are so cute. BUT, the ear pads?the covers that go on your ears? those get dirty easily so I find I need to wash them (just soap and water) about every month or so
