the fact that you filmed this yesterday and it's up today is insane to me. i honestly assumed all of your vlogs were delayed by about a week or so, considering how well edited they are. thank you for creating incredible content and please take care of yourself!

Thank you so much for voting! I am a municipal clerk/treasurer in the state of Wisconsin and we run our elections at the local level. It is a ton of work and the “rules” are constantly changing due to court rulings, for instance we are no longer able to use drop boxes for absentee ballots. I would like to encourage everyone to vote, let your voice be heard! And please, if you vote absentee, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, it is important that all steps are completed.

Heads up for anyone deciding to read 'it ends with us', it is focused on domestic abuse and violence. So don't go into it expecting a typical romance novel that you would expect from Colleen Hoover.

It's crazy how hard it is to vote in some places in the states! In Canada, you legally get a couple of hours off of work to vote and there are voting stations very close by, often in schools, churches, and rec centres. There is also the option to vote early (before voting day) at these locations. I've never had to wait in line to vote for longer than 10mins.
@Lindsay_Abbott2 жыл бұрын
Your experience is very similar to mine (minus the time off work) and I iust live a few hours south from Carrie in San Diego! We vote at our local Elementary School and there is never a long line, if any. It’s crazy how different it is here city to city.
@glitterandconfetti2 жыл бұрын
So weird! In Australia voting is always on a Saturday so people working during the week can vote. Those who work on the Saturday voting takes place can do mail in early voting or go before/after work.
@punkybrewstar832 жыл бұрын
This is the same in Aotearoa. It favors people with addresses though. It is difficult for the homeless, people living in cars, etc, to arrange to vote, and the vast majority just don't.
@hannahmarie26862 жыл бұрын
I live in Northern California and have the same experience except for the time off work. I can vote early by mail but usually I go down the street and walk right in to vote.
@DayManAHHHah2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what prompted this comment as I don't think Carrie mentioned having any trouble voting. I also live in LA and we have access to everything you mentioned-- it's a Californian's legal right to get time off work to vote (2 hours! Other Californians here saying we don't, we actually do! Your workplace apparently doesn't remind you, though not surprising unfortunately..), voting locations are everywhere (schools, churches, rec centers as well, and even places like residential homes..so literally out of their garage), and you can of course vote early by sending in your ballot and dropping it off. Lines have never been long and I've lived in quiet Orange County and busy LA. You just go in and do it and walk out within mins. I'm not one to defend the US and be obnoxiously prideful of my American nationality tbh but I see the US catch a lot of flack when it comes to this topic by non-Americans and.. it's really not that bad. Americans are like overly passionate over the act of ~voting~ lol

I only ever decorate for autumn/Halloween, and then Christmas, but something about this year I just wasn't feeling Halloween as much!! Usually September 1st I break out the pumpkins and cover the house in autumn colors, but I only managed to decorate one table by the second week of October and that was it. HOWEVER! I am absolutely ready for Christmas!!! I actually was just rearranging furniture last night to make room for the tree....

To the big spoon comment I say Absolutely not! No big spoons for anything. It has to be a medium size spoon and if I just cannot deal with washing one of the 2 medium spoons I own then I will deal with a small spoon 😅 It may be a neuro-spicy thing but I HAVE to use certain spoons, forks, dishes etc. Also, I cannot have my partner help me cook supper because if he uses the "wrong" utensil to stir something then I will be screaming inside my head and take said utensil away from him and make him use the "right" one, AKA the one I think should be used for whatever dish is being cooked 🙊🤣

Unpopular opinion - It Ends With Us is the worst book I have read in years. It has a glamorization of abuse and trauma that I don’t think is talked about enough. All the characters gave me a big ICK. The only other Colleen Hoover I have read is Verity and I don’t think I can read her stuff anymore.
