I just want to take a moment to share how grateful I am for a beautiful gift from my friend Carol. We met through social media, and I’m so lucky to call her a friend. She made me the most gorgeous scarf and hat, using crochet and a loom. Living here on top of a cold mountain in Pennsylvania, these will keep me so warm during these chilly winter days and nights. I can’t thank her enough for such a thoughtful gift. To top off this cozy evening, I made a delicious pot pie chicken soup to enjoy and warm me up even more.

I know they’re calling for a lot of bad weather coming our way now whether or not it hits on Thanksgiving nobody knows yet . Should be interesting. Yes winter foods are so much better than summer food. I can’t wait to make some homemade stews because they’re so hardy and they’re so delicious with dumplings. Anyway I hope you have a fabulous day.
