I was watching this earlier as my husband and I laid down with our puppers for a nap. He noticed your bedding and was like, "See that's what I want our bed to be like." We have sheets and a quilt by casaluna, so I told him I was pretty sure majority of your bedding was from the same line. His response was, "Alright, let's go. Now that I know that level of comfort actually exists we need to have it." So now I'm sitting in fresh casaluna bedding and feeling extra comfy. 😂🤷‍♀️😴 But ours is now shades of green and grey instead of the shades of brown and rust we've had.

Lord I feel that as another mixed girl. Freshmen year at a very white campus a Junior told me I looked like Brittany from Alabama Shakes. Literally it was just the skin tone and we both bigger girls. NOTHING ELSE was similar.

It happens with everyone. It is not just because of that you are mixed. I should not think too much of it. I do not think people are saying those things to be or if they are certaintly ignorant or rude. They may just mean it is a compliment. I have had people tell me I looked a lot like other people in the past. I did not agree, but thanks anyway.

@@TaraH195 I am making an assumption that you are not mixed so please read this from an educational perspective. When you’re whole life people are playing the guessing game to figure out “what you are” and invalidated that you either by 1- couldn’t possibly be X ethnicity you look to Y ethnicity or 2- instantly say something off color when you disclose your background anyone trying to say you look like something your aren’t isn’t going to go down well. People really should just not do this. It doesn’t make connections and just furthers that I look so different from what you are used to you are grasping for any reference to help your brain reconcile the situation.

You should make a cute little picnic basket to keep under your desk or something that's a "snack pantry" so you don't forget to eat. Stuff like granola, protein bars, applesauce, fruit snacks, chips, pretzels, crackers, dried fruit, nuts, apples... whatever you like!

As a mixed girl, I totally relate to your car rant. People saying I look like any other mixed celebrity/model/girl they know is annoying but also concerning. It really implies that they don't make the effort to differentiate us despite the significant diversity in my city and shown in the media. Seeing us as the same for having similar skintone and hair is ignorant. I have yet to see people mix up two brunettes or two blondes for having the same hair type and skintone.

As another mixed girl here I get that all the time. I worked at this one job where another mixed girl worked and she had long black curly hair and I have an afro, people would confuse us all the time even though we looked nothing alike, like at all, the only thing we had in common was our skin color. I had to tell guest multiple times that I was/wasnt there server, And yes mostly those types of people ate there.

Omg that’s inexcusable! That must be frustrating to deal with, especially at work where you still have to be nice in return. And especially if you were a server in the US, you’d need tips from those people!! I can just imagine some of them blaming you for it too. I have red hair and am always told I look like other redheads, but while it can sound similar it’s different because there’s no racism behind it and they almost always know who’s who. If not, they quickly learn. Also your comment made me realise I only hear that from other white people?? To me the fact that white people as a whole still tell white redheads apart but won’t do the same for you is very telling and very disrespectful… That’s awful 😞

I have been crocheting for over 20 years. It helps with my anxiety. That hat is freaking adorable. Also right before I watched your video I set up my next Diamond Painting. Just incase you wanna think about shrinking your wash day to hour, I would suggest washing your hair with only shampoo and conditioner. Then style with gel or moose. THATS IT. No oils or butters. Then diffuse for 30 min. The results are chefs kiss❤❤❤

I loved this vlog :))) A little tip (if you want to): whenever I'm building something with lots of tiny pieces (furniture, small building sets, gem painting,...) I always use bowls and put the different pieces in them :) It helps a lot to not lose any of the pieces, especially if I'm on my bed of sofa :)
