@HunterTN7 ай бұрын
@@Shiba1A1128 That's fine. When it grows back, it grows back green and makes poor fuel. Fire is a normal part of the natural world but we've been taught to fear it if it's not being used for making smores or burning construction scraps.

What I do is I take a hoe or shovel and make a break in the vegetation so the fire is contained and also pay attention to the moisture content not to dry not too wet just perfect. And I usually do it before it rains. Pay attention you'll learn a lot from the fire and how it reacts trust me it wants to work with you. Cheers

I sure do appreciate all the time you spend setting up all your shots. For the most part it looks like every job you do you end up walking the whole job about eight more times than you normally would have to just to move cameras around. That sequence of you going to and from the tent was a bunch of set up. Most people go to the tent to grab something take 4 1/2 minutes. Takes PROhO an hour and a half. Just wanted you to know your efforts were appreciated, Always such a beautiful composition. Tell Mrs. wrangler star we miss her presence in the videos. It’s always nice to see your slip in for a second.

I know nothing about wild fires etc., but I’m just wondering from my position of pure ignorance and curiosity: since this fence is up against a road, if the road doesn’t interrupt a creeping fire, how would this strip of burnt grass be more effective? Obviously that wouldn’t apply to the fences not near roads. Thanks in advance for helping me expand my understanding!

I think most people dont recognize the pure fury of a fully involved residential or wildland fire. While defending my home while still living in Ca,, watching house after house go up in flames, my buddy and I walking down the street inspecting the burnig homes, the air and ground shaking, would have to yell right in each others ear just to hear over the volume of the fires.

I was thinking about the long grass along the fence line and the gates and having to burn back as an ongoing task. How would it be to spread gravel along them to stop new growth from happening? Expensive, I expect, but it would reduce the amount of repetitious work of burning back for some years to come.
