I found this wonderful place near a small lake house. When the sun sets behind the horizon, the whole forest is filled with the sounds of crickets and the bright lights of fireflies fly to dark corners like sparks from a fire. I want to spend the last days of summer here to smoothly transition into my favorite autumn season. Friends, I invite you to visit this place with me!

Sighhhhhh. This soundscape and view is pure bliss and it actually feels kind of like it hurts to not be able to just step into the image and experience everything first-hand. It's my dream house and location! I love the layered sounds. The crackling, snapping fire and lapping water, little falls by the house, the insects and owl. And the evening light!

This scene is MAGICAL! Perfect end-of-Summer feeling with Fall just beginning to subtly move in (even though it’s 1,000 degrees where I live, still 😅). The little waterfall, the mist creeping in, the details are dreamy. I’m not sure if those lights are from the fire or fireflies in the woods, but either way I love them 🥰 Remind me of the fireflies in my backyard when I lived in New England ✨
