Oh yes, fire cider is used a lot by a lot of homesteaders especially. I have known of a few people who drink it! I am allergic to cider but wish I could have it! Loved seeing how you made yours! I love the leaves decor you made. It is so nice to bring nature in like that. I really need to do so. When you were illustrating your fire cider in your journal, I was reminded of Alicia Bay Laurel's book, Living on the Earth, which was a 'back to the land' missive of the early 1970s. If you're not familiar, I recommend you check it out... there is so much inspiration to be found there... and in the companion book, Beings of the Sun. Thank you, Haley, for sharing such nourishing content. I especially admire the candid insights you share on the challenges of experiencing enjoyment. in this fleeting season of enchantment.
