When I read novellas I’m basically the opposite. If a book under 200 pages is good and I enjoy it, I usually rate them a 4-5. I don’t think it being short should lower it’s rating, because if it’s still good despite being short, then it’s definitely pretty good.

A lot of people don't like ACOFAS because they go into it thinking its book 4, when it's book 3.5, cause it's a Christmas themed novella setting up the POV change for ACOSF and ending the Feysand POV

I read a court of frost and starlight a while ago and I really loved it. I think it wasn't meant to be an "action packed" book at all. it was more meant to just being a cute novella with some day to day stories about the characters to kind of introduce to the next books.

Well... I loved A Curse For True Love.. But not as much as The ballad of never after.. {If u n haven't read this series and doesn't want anything to spoil your experience in the very least - it is better you don't read on.} Though there were too much of Apollo and little bit (comparatively) of Jacks...the book ended too quickly after Jacks accepted. Because in the previous books he was worried he might end her life etc etc saying she was not the 'true love' in the prophecy... But then finally when he accepted to give a chance and to not worry about the future the book ended.... (not immediately) but I felt like it was too fast... I wanted more of the time or era when Jacks wasn't at all restricting himself or hiding his actual feelings and full on LOVED her... ❤❤❤
