Victoria Schwab actually did an entire recap “book club” weekly on her KZbin account leading up to the release of Fragile Threads of Power. She went through each section of the book, summarizing and remind you of important events/characters. It is how I prepped myself for the new book 📚 ❤

I would love to recommend a book to you since you mentioned you love books with human connection- please check out The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams. It is such a beautiful story about human connection, family dynamics, friendship, the power of reading, books, and libraries. It's soooo amazing! I recommend it any chance I get. I really hope you at least look up the synopsis. Lol This book made me a consistent reader, I've always loved and appreciated books, reading, and libraries, and now I consider myself a reader and have grown my hobby of finding amazing books and have increased the amount of times I visit my local library...okay now I'm rambling.
