Sure! Add an additional stitch to the beginning count, 14 or 15 instead of 13. this will increase the width. If you have his foot available you can use him as a guide. Work in the round until it meets the top of his ankle (toe to ankle). Then, when you crochet the heal, Create enough, rows to meet the back of his heel (midfoot to heel). This pattern can be easily adjusted for kids too, if you have the model available.
