With my previous reference to frames, I painted an AO piece of canvas stapled to a wall painted randomly with yellow, red and blue and all colours in between. Then using two L shaped pieces of card, I cut out pieces of canvas largest first then reducing the sizes smaller down to around 50mm squares. Sorry finally getting back to framing. I framed all of these with mounts within wooden frames, as you might do with paper. I got a lot of criticism! I found the canvases were much improved when framed in white mounts, having a similar effect when you remove the tape from your paintings. Sorry, this is a long comment which really isn’t saying very much!

Love your approach to painting loose and light with glazing colors over each other. I enjoy the abstract line which I think gives the piece some mystery and interest. Your voice is so soothing and I do watch your vidoes over and over, each time finding something new to focus on. Thank you!🥰

I think it is just experience - I just get very tight and overpaint with too much paint and paint over all the natural whites which makes it dark and amateurish.

Thank you so much for what you are doing and shareing.I would like to ask-for example, this painting in this video-do you think its completed?If you would like to present it to someone in a frame-would you leave it as its right now?.. I have problems with the finishing...Sometimes i think and feel that this is enough, but on the other hand I'm not sure that its enough for others people, who would like to buy my paintings for example... Thank you very much one more time! And I'm sorry for my English, that's not my native language.

Always...always! Looking for techniques and approaches to loosen up my styles, which after a lifetime of dabbling remains usually, how do you say, well, the opposite of instinctive, natural and spontaneous. Collage and abstract, np, but realism, even abstract realism...I don't have much feel. Watching your video was straightforward and reassuring. Wish me luck.
@eramosat Жыл бұрын
I had a very pleasant outcome. The ideas that helped me out the most, in order (a) actually using acrylic w. water on watercolour paper...so helpful (b) severely limit the number of colours, so that (a) then helps so much with mixing the necessary shades AND applying them. 😁

This is a great demonstration, I love the combination of colours, and the way you use them. I need to be more careful and to let paint dry between layers, as well as making pencil marks, there's a lot to learn and to practice here. Coming from watercolour to acrylic is a difficult one for me, but your lessons are the most help of all I have seen, which is a lot! Thanks for another inspirational video, it's been a treat to watch on this dark cold November morning.

Hi Danish painter your work is beautiful. I live in Florida. I’m striving to paint more loosely and freely. Your lessons are inspiring. I tried this lesson today. I did it on I sort of a plastic canvas pad of canvas sheets, not exactly the texture of a regular canvas. The problem was when I did the scratches I coded this plastic with a coat of gesso. The problem was when I did the scratching it took me right down to the white. What effects do you have doing this exact same painting on real canvas? Do you gesso?

Thank you so much for sharing your skill and wisdom. I do have a question please. I haven’t painted with watered down acrylic but it appears in the video that the very wet acrylic doesn’t darken very much. Is that true? It would seem logical and of course I suppose I should try it out for myself but you’ve given us so much with which to experiment❤
