I am imagining the view from one of these seats during a full-service meal sitting and listening to the clink of metal on crockery together with a mix of subdued polite conversations over ambience music. The carriage would be gently swaying as snow abruptly swirls and taps on the frozen window outside. Inside, everyone is safe, warm and happy.

As a teenager, I lived in northern Montana and we would travel by Amtrak to Washington to visit my sisters for Christmas. This train recording is what it sounded like as we traversed that wild part of America, especially through Glacier National Park!

I love the whole series. Some time ago there was an "8 hours of" channel that disappeared. He did a nice job...one of the originals. One thing he did was themed videos as well as 8 hours of different perspectives or views of one thing. This reminds me of that. You're very talented. Nice job.

Really lovely. The decor is first rate! Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. It's wonderful. But if i may make a suggestion; I kinda wish it didn't move so much up and down. Trains don't do that, they shimmy side to side. I take trains every day for 2 hours here in Japan - all kinds from single car trollies to Shinkansens. Trust me. And I've been on the Eastern Orient Express from Bangkok to Singapore more than once. If you are on a train and it moves up and down like that, something is very, very wrong. It's derailing! Hold on to something! Cheers from Tokyo. Merry Christmas!

A train ride during a cold snowy day and it has very comfortable seating and they serve hot tea and coffee also donuts and croissants and play light music to keep you entertained and if you are sleepy the have blankets to cover you for more warmth so you can get some sleep and the whole car as well the others are kept very warm and you will have the best journey ever.
