I Just found your channel and I m so glad! Well, I'm 35 and I bought a kindle cause I'm dealing with some serious problems and I needed something to relax me before sleep time. At first I bought sweet valley and then I saw accidentally cozy mysteries and my life changed! I live in Greece so we don't know about this kind of books. I really have a great time and they relax me sooo much. I want to travel to these towns too, although they are not real!

I love the small town of Snowflake, Vermont in the Soup Lovers mysteries by Connie Archer. Sounds like a great place to visit, and have a warm bowl of homemade soup on a snowy day. I can so easily experience this kind of cute town, as I live in Vermont, and not too far from Stowe.

I just found your channel and am so glad I did! I also love small town stories. My favorite is found in The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. The way Alaska was described made me want to go there. It had the main street and the local shoppes that you described. I found that the most inviting part of this book was the description of the fall and the winter. The mountains and the trees. Watching your video gave me the realization that in order to be a reader of novels, you must have a great imagination to truly enjoy the story.

Thank you for the great video! I love the Booktown series setting also. I think my favorite town is from the Domestic Diva series. She lives in Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia. It is a very old area and she does a great job of describing the old brick buildings, cobblestone streets, etc. The characters are always walking places so that helps with the descriptions also. I do not like to travel at all but I think I have to visit!

Hi. I love the idea for this video. It’s fantastic, and I enjoyed it so much! You are a girl after my own heart. I love the Murder She Wrote series. I’ve mentioned in the comments before that I’ve read about 40 of the books. I love the idea of Cabot Cove, and wish I could visit there as well. The books that take place in Cabot Cove are my favorites as well. I also love the Booktown series. I just finished book #8. I would adore visiting that town as well. I love cold weather and would be in heaven visiting a town that was filled with bookstores. And, yes, the mystery book store would be my first stop as cozy mysteries are my favorite genre 😊📖📚

You should check out the Whitstable Pearl Mysteries by Julie Wassmer! The main character owns a restaurant with her mother and has a detective agency on the side :)

Love cozy mysteries, too. I'm a foodie, so cozies with recipes are my favorites. Hannah Swensen Series (Lake Eden, MN), Goldy Bear Catering mysteries (Aspen Meadow, CO). Coffee House Mysteries are in a large city, but does have well developed characters in the Village Blend. You turned me on to Ellie Alexander, so I'm going to start a new series with her, soon (The Bake Shop mystery).

Not a cozy town, but the first location that comes to mind - that I wanted to explore more - is the giants' graveyard from the Fifth Conflux series. It's the home of a cult of diviners/astronomers. They live in an area with countless stone towers, said to be the petrified remains of giants that were buried face down with their legs up in the air. A good place to remain isolated and gaze at the stars.

Mason Stone series "Live Free or Die" on Kindle has the sleuth (an attorney) spending most of his time in the local diner with a journalist and the chief of police. They consume a lot of all-day breakfasts, lol.
