Yay for Ashford, from good old Ashburton, New Zealand, just down the road from where I live. I have this same ball winder - one of the best investments I’ve made.

This was awesome to watch. I'm in the Midwest with lots of snow at moment. I cant wait for it to be nice enough to just sit outside at Knit. Once again thank you for sharing your world with us! You do a very beautiful job. Love the music choices for your videos as well such a fun relaxing feeling .

Thank you so so much. I am so happy that these videos are bringing joy and calm. I absolutely love creating them. And I bet you’re ready for the warmer weather. Just prior to filming this we had a cold snap (probably not that cold compared to what you’re used to 😉) so the few warm days we had afterwards were so welcome and gave me serious spring fever. 🌷. Sending good vibes for warmer weather in your neck of the woods. ❤️

I'd love the skein twister, but to get it to Australia cost almost $600. It's on my dream list. ⭐🦘🧶

Those stitch markers of sheep in coats are adorable. And so it the stripe blouse you are wearing. Where did you get that? The voice over type vlog is really relaxing for some reason. Could be your choice of music.

Are you sure you weren’t supposed to be a videographer?? I mean, can I just say you are super multitalented that’s for sure! Loving these voice over vlogs...I’m sure it takes a lot of time. 💗💗

I can’t tell you how this makes my day. Thank you so much. Filming these little snippets have opened my eyes to the art of videography and I really just love it so much. I have a ton to learn, but I’m really enjoying it and your compliment just makes it that much more exciting. Thank you Amanda. ❤️❤️

I have a jumbo electric ball winder from the US company, Fiber Artist Supply Company. It is the best thing ever!

Honestly, it's a game changer!

Hiya' Tayler! How does the electric winder compare with the hand winder as far as tension goes? Is the yarn tension tight or the same as hand winding? :-)
@WOOLNEEDLESHANDS3 жыл бұрын
This is a great question. I plan on definitely doing a review of this at some point but from what little experience I’ve had with it (and know that it is not replacing my hand winder. I love that thing for single skeins or minis, small qualities, etc) I feel like it’s tension is slightly less tight than my hand winder which honestly is ok. I’m happy with the tension of the cakes that come from this.

Yes! And in fact it’s the BEST yarn to wind on this because it stays together. ❤️❤️
