I've never been great at following non-synchronous storylines, but have always LOVED multiple storylines. This series, despite the fragmented, out of order parts, has helped me parse... "time shenanigans" & experimental mediums. Now, when my boyfriend throws time travel & paradoxes & non-sequitur events into our d&d campaign, I'm not as lost as before. As a writer myself, I find it exciting to use my "insider knowledge" to engage deeply w the storyline. It's really starting to come together; all the motifs & worldbuilding that you've so meticulously presented to us are beginning to show their true colours. I've noticed you're doing something in the last few videos; authors tend to call it "pausing at the threshold," where the story's pacing abruptly slows before something big happens... just makes me wonder what it could be.

I imagine that our character (the viewer) is a passive, almost helpless, asset. I have always imagined that we don't know quite what is going on - that we're being used by a bigger power in a grand scheme we can't comprehend. This feeling is amplified in almost every video - the first one I ever watched about three years ago, the Victorian seamstress shop, begins with us standing there while Anna and the seamstresses discuss and decide what we're going to wear and why. This feeling continues - the victorian man or woman POV videos with the maid preparing our room and dressing us, the spy disguise prep on the jet where the two characters discuss how we're going to look, every video with Anna as she shows us how to dance or gives us a tour...even the android personal assistant video where we're supposedly a big tech celebrity feels like we're just a puppet or a figurehead for a more sinister entity. The entire vibe is that we're almost blameless for anything that goes on - that we're being used as a means to an end, being sent here and there through time and space to accomplish something mysterious. Maybe this feeling would go away if I'd watched every single video from beginning to end, but I kind of like this confused, brainless feeling of being told where to go and what to do. Eventually we'll find out where it all leads.

If I remember correctly, one of the first episodes on the “Present” playlists had us returning to Base, covered in Time Bugs. We needed an operation and some therapy but still had memory loss. I always assumed that since we were “out of time” visitors, we preferred to hang in the background while assisting our partner on their quest, giving gentle nudges but not actually influencing their decisions. Or this is all just a “big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff” to explain why we’re going to kill a man-shaped puppet controlled by a goldfish.

I think I'm starting to see the plot. From what I understand after following this channel for 4 years is that: POV character is a spy on a mission from the future POV character is a frequent traveller and would often receive treatments after their missions But then POV character has to go back in time and/or multiple dimensions for new mission with this agent POV character was supposed to go with their partner but somehow got separated before they got to reach the ground contact So POV character has to figure out where to go to the ground contact POV character most probably jump into multiple dimensions or timeline to get their gear right. Or even to get the right supports from different figures. However, their priority is still to meet the ground contact After they did, the adventure began. The guy who is always pinned in the comment section told us Lady Anna is the key to this mission so I'm assuming that the POV character is still trying to figure out his mission especially in Lady Anna's timeline.

Дымящиеся чашки горячего шоколада, распаковка “подарков”, настольная игра в отмычки у камина, снег в волосах, поездка на снегоходе. А на невидимом уровне тот мир, который рисуют звуки прямо на полотне души - мир, который находит отклик в каждом потаённом закоулке внутренней бездны. Я надеюсь, он поселился внутри надолго и поможет и в реальной жизни не забывать, сколько вокруг секретных чудес, на которые стоит направить фокус повседневного взора. И тогда всё станет приключением, миссией и уютной игрой, как в детстве. Анастасия, спасибо! 🤍
