I know the long winter months can be hard for some, and even though I love things about every season, sometimes winter can be hard to push through till spring for me! So, I wanted to share a few of the very simple ways that I try to enjoy 'wintering' at home, and how I like to lean into this season of slow & rest where I can. Although I’m a avid gardener, I embrace the quiet coziness of winter as a time to relax my mind and recharge. Reading or painting with music in the background glancing up to watch the birds at the feeders. Practically perfect.

This is absolutely beautiful! I know this is a video about wintering, but I can’t help but feel reminded of early spring days, where the sun is warm, the air is crisp with promises of warmer days ahead, and nature is starting to wake back up from her winter sleep, turning green again. It’s truly a lovely reminder as the world around me is blanketed in white snow, and I’m lucky to feel the sun against my skin once or twice a month. In this winter world, taking advantage of cozy candlelit evenings and hot cups of tea does make such a difference!

What lovely flower arrangements!!! Margaret's Unicorn looks so cute!! I need to go outside more often. I don't handle the cold weather too well, but used to better a decade ago.
