I love the idea of a Mr Negative -7. Immediately followed up with Viper would make her instantly jump up the tier list. When Hobgoblin was a constant around Halloween, I always kept a Viper on hand to counter-troll

I love how they're really going into the theme of symbiotes being all about destroying. Venom and carnage obviously but also common destroy cards like nova and killmonger having venomized variants and now knull who is the god of the symbiotes getting stronger when things are destroyed it all fits the theme very well

Just pinned BROOD in the Collectors Shop and I feel like he is sort of key for Silver Surfer for decks available to me in early Pool 3 (CL, 1,155). Hoping to get 400 more Collectors Tokens soon. I’m stoked about the new card drops. I suppose I’m slightly concerned it will be difficult to catch up, but the Collector Reserve Cache pity timer improvements, depreciating Pool 4&5 card and getting more Collectors Tokens after I have all Pool 3 probably makes that pretty enjoyable. I unlocked the token shop last Thursday and have not bought anything until yesterday. I was able to buy both Mystique and Sera in that order. I have 1600 tokens left and looking for either Patriot or Wong to to get some fun decks going. I reached Infinite last season after only playing for 3 weeks ending at almost CL600. The start at 70 at reset is tough, but I am hanging in there at almost CL682 and maintaining a rank between 68-70. No rush to infinite for my 2nd season since I only have to climb 30ish ranks instead of 1000 last season. Love the podcast and can't wait for more of them.

Good picks! Patriot is a lot of fun Wong can be pretty flexible too, it's easier to juke cosmo than you think Can bait a cosmo and drop panther elsewhere and just Zola him for free and when they cosmo you they will Definitely snap and give 8 cubes Happened to me personally and I was like oh nice 🙃

For my token buys I went for fun cards rather than necessarily strong ones. Picked up Agatha, Dracula and Patriot and am perfectly happy with my choices. Now I need to save up again for when Sera comes around.

Darkhawk also works really well with Black Widow, since her draw deny is keeping the enemy deck bigger. The Widow, Wave, Odin combo could be a great base for a Darkhawk Deck.

If you are doing these as audio podcasts, you need to read off the cards. You can't expect your listeners to know what every single card does. This is especially true of new players, who should be your target audience.

I think SD need to be careful about dropping lots of super powerful cards into Series 5 given how hard they are to get and how frustrating the randomness of caches and the token shop can be. I'm already frustrated at not having Sera and Death yet and they're just in Series 3, and I'd love to play Bast with Mr Negative but it'll be so long before I can afford it.

black widow prevents opponent from drawing for at least a turn so that helps darkhawk. its like adding a card to their deck.

I use America Chavez in my Infinaut deck and people criticized it without trying it out. It's not so bad, you almost always get Infinaut and you can still play on turn 5 if you don't. You'll be solid for 7 turn games too.

Potential rework for death that might be needed (and is fairly easy): For each card destroyed, she gains 2 (or 3 power) but she’s a 6 cost 0 power. Idk. Cus at the moment she’s broken with lamentis.

Dunno if this has been said yet- but Knull gaining the power of all destroyed cards surely counts for negative cards like the void being eaten etc right? So sentry not only gives value for power/ cost but if you can deathlok/ carnage the void then that directly counters Knull as well?

Hm, I'm going to say that going forward it's going to be hard to balance the card with a card like Mr. Negative in it. It's one of those cards that seem like a good idea but tend to break the game.

Would Mister Negative being Ongoing instead of On Reveal fix him? He'd be much easier to counter that way and you can't just Viper him or destroy him after he puts his effect into play.

Darkhawk, Rockslide, Black Widow (prevents at least 1 draw, Korg, Thanos adds cards to their deck if they are playing him... Doc Oc to pull those rocks into play!! It is a niche, but Korg + Beast, or Wong with Rockslide. Throw in Debrii, etc to just make it a Toxic Deck with the appropriate hate. Throw in Juggernaut, Viper, Polaris, and the Goblins and you are basically playing clog-style control.
