I've been having success with her in specifically Discard Zoo with Dracula and Strong Guy. Dracula has been a great addition because he can benefit from all the buffs Gwenpool provides even if you can't play her until turn 6. I think it might be worth checking out!

That original Gwenpool comic is genuinely one of the best uses of 4th wall breaks in all of comics. It does genuinely unique things with the mechanics and layouts of comics because of it. It's really interesting but also really easy to follow in a way some other comics that experiment with the medium are. Great book. Highly recommend to anyone.

Gwenpool is really close to being phastos. The only difference is that phastos might give a cheaper cost instead, and you have to draw into the phastos cards. I wonder if phastos would see more play if he also hit the cards in your hand? Or if he just always gave either the power increase or the reduced cost. Like start of the game this card text becomes “on reveal: all cards in your deck get +2 power” or “on reveal: all cards in your deck get -1 cost”
