It’s also so amazing that you like and reply to your comments even on old videos. You’re so dope man, it shows that you care a lot for your community. Like you actually care about our progress in playing smash and want us to improve. Most people making guides for smash do it for views and money but its clear that your main priority is just being a nice human and helping as many people as you can. I’m definitely glad I found this channel, you’re a dope guy.

The only issue I have with playing joker at times is that he has really high highs but also really low-lows. When playing against people who don’t know what they are even doing, I can’t predict what they are going to be doing, and thus punish them as joker is a bait-punish character. Contrarily, whenever I run into good players with basic fundamentals, I find myself being way more successful. My GSP unfortunately often will fluctuate from near 12 million all the way down to 10 million depending on how the day is. I think that this stems from the fact that joker doesn’t have a move to the affect of link’s nair that has answers for a large majority of options. You have to be creative, and precise with the way you play joker, and unfortunately lag and cheese doesn’t care about your GSP.

Bro how do u deal with swordfighters that spam jump and attack like they some geeked out frog
@CozyyPR3 жыл бұрын
well if u know they will jump u can anti air them and catch them before they land/get the move out! or you might also be able to punish their aerial landing depending on positioning and such 🙌🏽

This video’s really helpful! This might be a dumb question but is there a trick to getting fair after bulletstorm like in 6:35? The only way I can get it is by switching to a claw grip and pressing B at nearly the same time as the double jump, and even then I’m not very consistent at it
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
Gomajor7 yea you just have to do it at the peak of your double jump, immediately bullet storm when at the highest point possible, and by buffering any option while coming down with guns, it’ll stop right before hitting the ground allowing you to get certain moves out like fair, bair, airdodge and counter! hope this helps :)

How do you turn around so quickly at 00:03
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
Large fellow Joe an attack cancel! ima have a video on that soon explaining it more in depth but in simple terms you input a tilt on the opposite direction you’re facing, then quickly cancel it into a jump and pull out a backair as quickly as possible! this is easier by setting one of your triggers (L or R) to jump, so you can jump and pull out an aerial on the exact same frame
@GhizaSimp4 жыл бұрын
Nice guide cozy, can you cover how to space with joker, I find most of the times when i RAR Back Air I end up in my opponent's face and I almost always get a grab, I know there might be simjlar videos around but you can go more in depth with Joker's back air spacing and also how to perfect it. For example I have no idea if it's something you lab or understand with experience, that's why I'd like to know from you!
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
spacing is more-so a game specific fundamental. it’s something that comes with time and practice, go into training and figure out how far u can possibly space Joker’s back air, then practice getting that range consistently! you can also micro-space your jumps by very quickly and lightly tapping the analog stick to either side, it’s very hard to notice you move (hence micro) but this will greatly help u! let me know if this helps, or any other questions too :)
@GhizaSimp4 жыл бұрын
@@CozyyPR thank you for your quick response, you are an amazing source of material for someone who is learning joker! Hope you'll have success on KZbin
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
you’re welcome! a big thing too is that you typically want to start jumping when you’re out of range of your opponent, so that your aerial (back air) will only come out as soon as you get in range! this will not only make your jump safer since you’re out of range, but will make your aerial safer since you’ll be pretty much out of shield grab range. and jumping from afar can help u react to what ur opponent does while you’re jumping :) hope this helps!

Do u have any ideas for what joker can do when a character lands with a move, spotdodges, then inputs another move e.g. being Dk lands with bair spotdodges then uptilts
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
if u know they’re gonna spotdodge cancel, u can simply just wait it out by holding shield, dash away to outspace the move, spotdodge yourself (after their spotdodge, GIMR literally posted a video of this a few weeks ago), or counter. in general if u know they will do a move this is what u should do

Is there a certain trick to doing drag downs? I have been trying for months but still cant
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
CorruptMuppet01 you want to make sure you delay the upair slightly and not have it come out immediately after a jump, because if you delay it, the last hit won’t have a chance to come out (which is the hit that sends the opponent up). so you really want to hit your opponent with the first 2 or 3 hits of falling upair which will leave them with enough hitstun to where you can follow up with another grab or whatever appropriate punish you can get! a lot of people have asked me this, i dont really find it that hard, but i could make a video simply about upair dragdowns if people are interested! thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback! :)
@DuckWhenIBust4 жыл бұрын
@@CozyyPR Thank you! I havent heard that advice anywhere else
@CozyyPR4 жыл бұрын
CorruptMuppet01 you can also go to training mode and put it in slow motion (1/2 or 1/4) and practice the timing like that since its easier. and once u get the timing down, put it in regular speed! good luck, you can do this! 💪🏽
