10:08 minutes in. I have seen the complete drama a while back, and this is still one of my favorite scenes. He was in the wrong and should have told Mo Fei about the whole situation. He stood Mo Fei up too many times, and he put her on the back burner without telling her the truth. There was no excuse for this. Mo Fei was so hurt, but she still took the high road and left. His partner tried to make Mo Fei look bad because she still wants to be with him. She thinks the sick girl does not know this.

And I think these FL's get offended very easily. I believe they don't always need to know the complete history of the people they are with. They are not married and I think this is one way to force the ML's in a corner. She's too much of a Drama Queen in this episode. She should have stayed put and something to the effect of; "So you all grew up together and know each other very well." or something along those lines. Right away they put on a mad face and run for the door. Oh, "I am so offended! I guess it makes a good continuing story line.

Esta es una de mis escenas favoritas de este drama. Y es cierto, ella tenia y tiene la razon. No habia ningun motivo para el ocultar y dejarla plantada en varias ocasiones para ir a ver a su amiga enferma. El bien pudo decirle lo que estaba pasando pero simplemente le oculto todo y la dejo fuera. La parte cuando el intenta consolarla donde ella le dice, No necesito tu disculpas, debio terminar la frase con, lo que quiero es honestidad. Ella se sintio fuera de su circulo. Porque realmente no habia ninguna razon para no decirle lo que estaba pasando. El se busco el problema con ella por gusto. La subestimo y la mirada de el cuando ella se fue, es como diciendo, la perdi. Y bien pudo haberla perdido pero finalmente las cosas se arreglan y ella le deja bien claro que jamas quiere enterarse de nada de por segunda o terceras bocas.

Wow! Tang sure injured Mo Fei's heart. It would have been quicker with a knife. He the one always asking Mo , who? why? and what? ,but feels he never has to answer to Mo. Old fool, As-Ho-. It would be a long time before I'd talk or see him, see if Old Tang can endure the " I'm busy today " excuses from me. He can hug, kiss those secrets he keeps for awhile! and hope you stay warm with them.

Random question. Birthday party was in the afternoon (sun shining- daylight) but Mo Fei doesn’t get home until dark and Mingxuan doesn’t try to contact her until after dark. Where were they during all the time in between?

What I didn't like in this FANTASTIC scene in an equally FANTASTIC drama is the fact that Tang Minxuan's cousin, Lu Zhu, and Mo Fei's brother, Mo Fan, while trying to explain what was wrong with Fang Qian (her brain tumor, etc.) it seemed they completely dismissed Mo Fei's hurt & betrayal she was feeling due to Tang Minxuan's "thinking he was keeping her safe" (typical excuse for keeping things from each other like that in many Asian dramas). He didn't think she could "handle" this? After she's proven so well that she can handle anything -- for instance, what Xueling and Mixuan's mother were doing to her over and over! As well as the constant appearance of Fang Xiaoyu after se told him (and showed him) she wasn't interested, after Mo Fei told him that she likes Tang Minxuan! SHE was the strong one! Mo Fei didn't keep running to Tang Minxuan crying and complaining about what Xueling & Tang Mixuan's mom were doing & saying about & to her. I'm really proud of Mo Fei, too. No histrionics, no pouting, no stomping out & making a scene in front of Fang Qian to ruin her birthday. I applaud Mo Fei whole heartedly for her strength and courage and being such a complete lady. Good for her!

Lieing Tang is looking straight at Pretty Young Mo Fei and asking her why is she at the hospital and who is she visiting with, girl or boy. Tang has his nerve, the lier. He will pay for lieing to Pretty Young Mo Fie. Mo Fei better teach this old liying man a lesson, ignore him, till he apologizes and begs for you attention and affection. He'll learn , hopefully not to do this again. ( Yeah, Right )

And as if stupidly hurting MoFei weren't enough he also managed to cause unnecessary pain to the other girl and give ammunition to that vile 2FL so she could stir up hate and discontent. And then he didn't even show up to explained, he just turned around and left and that idiotic message. He played somewhat the same arrogant idiot in an earlier drama except that time the FL saw the other woman kiss him not 4 feet away from her, and find out she was actually living in his home with his family...but gee, she's just an old friend.Love the actor really don't like the character...or the way it and other things get smoothed over WAY too fast .

Xueĺing is inconsiderate and self serving. She couldn't stop even if the patient's condition is critical. No wonder Mingxuan did not want her for a wife. She would'nt be a big help to the company. If she felt neglected by the CEO, she would pressure the him by abandoning her responsibilities. Unlike her, Mo Fei is sincere, and willing to support the CEO to the best of her ability. Bùt, it is understandable for her to feel hurt. Mingxuàn should have told her about his past relationship right from the start. There was nothing immoral to his action. After all, refusing marriage to someone you do not love is not wrong.
